  1. I never felt the pain of death untill my dog died. My dog was my best friend, a brother to me. He was with me untill i couldnt remember anymore and its sad for him to disappear from havin to see him every day all day to see him no more its soo fuckin sad...He was the BEST dog by far he was a sweet loving dog and i know he had my back, if me and my friend would mess around like wrestle my dog would bite the other persons leg. Dont take anyone for granted because you never know when they can go. I feel like i will never get over this and feel like owning another dog wont be the same.
    I love you buddy, R.I.P 10-26-11

Least you gave em good life thats all a dog can ask for:eek:

Getting a new dog will probly help but never forget your old pal

  3. Ya just kinda realizing that now. He was a stray dog at 6months so he could of died at the pound being 6month olds or dieing at 12y/o in a loving family:rolleyes:

  4. Sorry for your loss blade. Even though its not going to be the same adopting a new dog will help with the loss and you can make a lifetime more of memories for your new pup.

  5. When the time is right (likely this spring), you find the next one that needs you.

  6. So sorry to hear about your loss! :(

Dogs are THE BEST and they only live for the love and companionship of their owners---know that all the affection you gave your dog made each day of his special.

  7. man, i had a dog die recently too... no bond is stronger than a man and his dog's.
    one love.

  8. All Dogs go to Heaven, take it easy

  9. ive lost my buddies ( dogs ) in the past and i truly no how devastating it can be sorry bro...

  10. Lost my Rottweiler 2 weeks ago..sad experience, but I can now say she's in a better place with her pain at ease.
Sorry about your dog; just know that you will recover, and know that your dog is still in spirit.

  11. I once read in a story that we as humans live much longer than dogs; but the reason for that is because we have to learn to live and love and give back to the world, dogs already know how to do this. Therefore they give so much to us and the world that there time comes a lot faster; you gave the best you could to him and I'm sure he gave you even more.

    RiP buddy; take it easy.

  12. I lost my dog about 2 months ago...I'm 20 years old the dog was 15 when she died, and died on my bed while we were sleeping. Just got a new dog yesterday but no dog can replace her.

    My condolences to you.

  13. Mine died on my bed to, he was in extreme pain and i put him on my bed to comfort him nd talk to him, went out to go to the gas station to grab a monster because i wasnt sleeping that night came back and he was gone:( wish i stayed

  14. I had to watch my 18 year old german shepard mix get slowly consumed over the course of a year by cancer (which eventually grew into an enormous tumor on his jaw that made it impossible for him to chew)

I cleaned up his shit when he couldnt make it outside and I had to disinfect his sores daily.

I left for college on August 2nd 2010 and he died the next day. Just remember that you gave him a good life.

You may not be ready right now but adopting a puppy could start a new chapter for you

  15. Aww I'm sorry about your losses. :/ I can't even think about when my dog passes or i'll start crying.

    Google " a dog's purpose according to a 6yr old"

    RIP Good Buddies

  16. It's selfish but I am glad I am likely not going to be around when my family dog dies. It will be so sad.

  17. I'm so sorry for your loss, honestly I'd be so depressed if one of my animals died, ahh. If you ever get another, please consider getting from a shelter! There's sooo many dogs there that need a home and hundreds are killed daily. You can't even understand how happy you'd make a dog by picking it up from a shelter.

  18. Don't worry he will be waiting for you and wagging his tail when you kick the bucket. Time really does heal things. I lost my first rottie 8 years ago. I can remember it like yesterday, sure it still hurts but I know he is waiting for me. Meanwhile I have another rottie that will most likely join the first rottie before I do, that is ok, they will both be waiting for me when I kick the bucket.

  19. Im sorry man:(. Losing a pet is hard but You gave him a great life :)

    Next Bowl is for Buddy!

  20. Sorry about your loss. I have a dog as well and it kills me just thinking about it.
