IN 2007 Guillermo Vargas Habacuc an "artist" took a dog from the street and put it in a gallery, where it tied it to the wall.he let the poor dog ther so that it dies from starvation and thirst. the following days the visitors of this gallery became witnesses of this "art" parody and noone(!) reacted to help the poor animal. in the end the dog died suffering.. unforunately the story does not end here! the famous gallery "Central American Biennial of Art " decided that this cruelty is indeed "art" and invited this "artist" to repeat this tortchure again in Biennal in 2008... the "artist" ,after the public's disapproval and angry messages, claims that the dog would die eventually and that he just wanted to show to people the life of street dogs!!!! this cruelty has to stop!! animals have rights too!!!! Wow.........just wow. I think it would be pretty 'artsy' if they chained the 'artist' and the owner of the gallery up and made them the same type of 'art'.

That's fucked up, how is he getting away with this?! It's animal cruelty plain and simple, how can this torture be allowed just because he's labelled it "art" ? Fuck whoevers responsible for this. I signed the petition but I wish this had more publicity, animal rights groups are going to see red over this one, I'd email this information to a few if I were you...

Everything dies but dam that is FUCKED UP. i know i couldnt stand watching something like that. Id be pissed, i would want to grab the wack ass artist replace his ass with the dog and call that shit art. Im sure he woudlnt enjoy it. im sure this guy was seeking attention, fucken scumbag.
Hundreds of dogs die like this everyday. They just walk the streets, starve and die. People are only getting mad because he forced this reality in peoples face for everyone to see. And people should be getting mad but need to look at the bigger picture here. This dog would have died anyways and no one would have cared but now he has an online petition defending his life. I bet more people are aware of starving dogs that exist and die daily. Puerto Rico has a an insane amount of street dogs. The people responsible deserve to be tied up in an isolated room and starved just like they did to the dog. I'm sorry, but people need to have respect for ALL living things, not just other humans. Instead of dragging the dog inside and letting it suffer, he could've done something constructive, like help it survive.
i am a huge dog lover, and if i saw something like this i would ask to see the artist and then put his head through a fucking wall and then feed him to the dog.
Exactly. if he had the time and space for a starving dog he could have equally helped one survive and be lucky as opposed to just letting it die like the others.
Would it have died regardless of his intervention? Yes. That's not the point. He killed it! He robbed it of ANY chance of survival whatsoever and FORCED it to endure one of the most painful deaths possible.
