I posted an ad on craigslist for some herb. A guy answers and we talk back and forth. He is really into natural things and organic meats, non GMO and other stuff. I google his first name and last initial and after some hunting found his Facebook. Looks like he is who he says he is. I'm super paranoid he will be the police. What are the chances of that? If I get caught by the police buying weed it would be devastating. He offered to give me a "sample pack" to ease my paranoia. Is that legal? Help!
I wouldn't use craigslist for any illegal activities period but thats just me. And millions of people have the same name.

Weed is legal here, you can buy clones,herb,hash,wax, oil. There are even people that will process your herbs to hash, wax, oil for a percentage of the take.
I would never do this with the fact that it's 1) A stranger and 2) Something illegal. I always buy from a friend of a friend/relative then, at least I know I can trust them in some degree..

Think about it, if you're buying for personal use then the worst that could happen is a cop gives you a warning/small charge for posession. I would imagine they would be offering you bulk amounts, then they could get you for intent to supply. Logically it makes no sense for it to be a setup, go for it, free bag of weed.

Yes he is legal. The cops won't waste thier time with buyers. They will go after the sellers that have pounds. Especially in Texas or Florida.
