Does this old weed look any good?

    So I'm assuming this is in the right place, I've been smoking for a little while but still don't know much about telling if weed is any good via looks. I got this bud off a friend and he said it's about 6-7 years old, smoked some and it got me high so. Anyway do y'all think it looks any good?[​IMG]

    Looks like shit, but if it still smokes and doesn't taste like ass I'd say that's a win.

    i once found an egg in my fridge that must have been well over a year old... still looked good.

    Everything in life is relative - but how could 7 year old herb possibly be considered “good” - unless he payed you to take it?

    Cannabis is better from fresh, to say up to around 12 months... maybe a little longer... but it sure isnt wine where a 1909 vintage is “good”.

    Like any other organic matter, it degrades.

    Cannabis drops in potency around 10% per year so after 5 years your down roughly 50% in strength.
    At least that is what most of what I can find states. The quart jar sample I've had stored since 2012 was tested last year and still had enough kick to be felt smoking half a doobie of. Dark, cool storage with a 62% Boveda pack.
