Are you against simply digging a couple of holes and adding your good soil to the holes? Then after planting, mulch the hell out of each one with decomposing organic matter… Old hay, leaves etc. - they won’t dry up in the heat of the summer, will stay steadily moist and it’s virtually impossible to become root bound. j
The bags are easier for me to move etc. I give them sun all day simply buy moving them when the sun goes into different parts of my yard. It worked good for me last year.
Hey I participated in this thread and I'm a little disappointed to return and not see how the end results turned out. What technique did you ultimately go with?
