  1. I was weaving my branches through the scrog Scrog earlier. And I noticed for the second day in a row, they kind of irritated my hands just a little bit. (Redness, itchy) not horrible, and it went away pretty quick. Did anybody else experience this when they don’t wear gloves?

  2. Do you have a history of sensitive skin?

  3. Actually yes. Lol

  4. Most likely mild irritation either from the physical texture of the leaves or an allergy to some compound in the plant. Mild allergy based on your description.

  6. have you sprayed anything on your plants? If so that could be the culprit. If not you are showing an allergic reaction to the plant itself. Not sure if smoking it or ingesting the plant is a good idea. The allergic reaction could also affect your lungs or GI tract. Just my 2 cents fwiw.

  7. No man not at all just a little bit of water 100% organic

  8. Lol I’ve been smoking since I was like 14 years old. It must just be a physical reaction to the plants . I have very sensitive skin.

  9. doesnt matter how long you have used the plant. Allergies can spring up after years of eating a particular food or something in contact with the skin without any symptoms in the past. Also allergies can come and go as well. Many professionals think that the root of allergies can(not all) come from a change in our gut microbiome. Hence the come and go nature of them. Be careful is all I am saying and take care of your gut. Your skin might not be a sensitive if you do.

  10. I used to break out in hives from certain laundry detergent.. it’s not like I get any of those feelings in my throat when I smoke. I think it might just be the roughness of the plants on my sensitive arms. Literally even wearing the wrong shirt can make me break out. I was just seeing if anybody else gets these minor irritation/rashes when you are handling your vegging plants w no gloves. It’s not like painful or anything. It’s just kind of a little itching n annoying

  11. I could take much better care of my gut for sure

  12. There was a time in my life, where when I would get put on the spot or like I was the center of attention, or people would be like joking with me. For some reason, my fight or flight reflex would make me get really hot and every time my body temperature would raise. I would break out in hives all over my chest. I’ve always had super sensitive skin.

  13. It’s funny, because even in my old grows, I kind of noticed a little bit of irritation when I would touch the plants directly. It’s funny how it doesn’t happen when I touch bud but just the roughness of the leaves possibly — when I was a kid and I would roll around in the grass. I would break out like crazy.

  14. It’s also been a while since I’ve had my hand in some live growing healthy resinous plants :weed:

  15. The 'hairs are called Cystolith hairs, not heard that for many a year, some growers are allergic, and blame their scars on other stuff, its the same reason you should avoid eating raw cannabis, fine hairs like on nettles, perhaps used to cool the plant like cacti. a standard type skin crème from your 7-11 may work , but does suggest issues come eating it, avoid going top less in your grow room,
No these ain't trics but are close too them

  18. It’s odd, because I don’t think I’ve ever had this problem in the past. Although that was a pretty hazy time in my life. Maybe all the drugs I was on just made me not feel it. :smoke: Thank God for 14 years off that shit (skagg) — gotta be careful with the words that I use. I’ve been warned many times.

  19. Nothing like that, but I sneeze like crazy when I do a dry trim
