Does starting age determine being a stoner?

    Im asking this bcuz I didnt start smoking weed until I was 15 and once i started Ive been using extremely heavily (3-4 x/day) ever since

    my gf tried it at age 10 and smoked on and off ever since then, but she never got that into it.

    One would think that she would be the stoner

    btw Im 18 now and still a heavy user

    I started at 19 and it instantly became a daily thing for me, loved it.
    I honestly feel like there are a bunch of factors, age included.

    Edit: where as my mother smoked when she was 8 (my uncle made her) and she doesn't care for the herb at all. But it really helps my stepfather with his hepatitis C and she enjoys a few beers so they each have their own crutch. Hell, almost everyone has something.

    If you identify yourself as a stoner, then you're a stoner. It's just a label when it comes down to it.

    Things come and go.. same for names and labels.. and when it all boils down to the end it really doesnt matter what someone labels you as because we all end up in the same spot when we die... 6 feet under

    I would say if you smoke more than 3 days a week you're a "stoner"
    But I'm not the OP.

    I started when I was 19 (22 now) and have been pretty much smoking daily for that last 3 and half years, with the exception of a couple months. I love weed and would definitely label myself as a stoner, ganja aficionado, pot head or whatever other term there is haha. Although I have noticed that many kids I grew up with that started smoking weed in middle school and freshmen and sophomore years of high school, ended up becoming more dependent on drugs to keep them satisfied and happy in life

    pretty much what he said. also starting age doesnt determine whether your a stoner or gonna be a stoner . You make that choice and you give yourself that label
