Does Grasscity.com have the WORST customer service ever??? or is it just me?

    Hey all,

    So my wife ordered me a weed star smellchecker and another piece for christmas...the shipment was late because of the new customs code or w/e in the USA...no biggie,

    The box arrived and my wife saved it for me to open and I opened it and immediately notice a crack...from one side of where the pieces meet (the joint I believe it's called) it's enough of a crack that the percolator inside is sitting at an angle rather than straight, also the piece looks dirty, there are 2 or 3 scratches on it. (possible bumpy ride since it was in a boat rather than plane, but with the way this was packed with all the bubble wrap I have a REALLY hard time believing this happened in transit...) I'm of course bummed and go tell my wife and she's like wtf really? she asks if I can just use it anyways, I lol, and say aboslutely not this was supposed to be brand new...

    She goes threw the necessary steps and has sent an email and a request. She has heard nothing. That was on the 17th of this month. I'm pretty sure someone has had a chance to read the email and help request by now...

    Mods, anyone to put my last shred of hope in, HELP! I don't know maybe support could even respond here? I'll hold my breath...
     
  2. That is too bad about your order, I also ordered the Smellchecker and have loved it! I know your looking for last resort options but this forum is not going to help solve your problem, your best bet is to submit another ticket and wait for it to be reviewed.

  4. I've bought multiple items from GC and had then shipped to the US with absolutly no problems buying from GC isn't a bad choice for an online headshop. Well that's just my 2 cents

    in fact my friend ordered some shit from GC and he never got the package
     
  6. Any damages should be blamed on the transit people. Gc won't pack broken merch.

    As for the service, gc isn't a big company, and they have been insanely busy lately.
     
  7. op, i venture to say you have had an exceptional experience because while gc, imo from ive seen, has a few issues with customer care, gc seems to be have satisfied clients and forumgoers....im sure the situation will be resolved amiably...
     
  8. Off topic...Is it possible to drop by the home office if we happen to be in the country? I'm thinking about a nice trip this spring...:)
     
  9. I've purchased from GrassCity and it was a great shopping experience. Sometimes shit happens and people blow it way out of proportion.

    Honestly, posting here WILL probably help you, SJ always takes care of people, even if its a little delayed... like its been said already, GC is bustlin

    They were flooded with support requests because of all the delays that were caused by Homeland Security and the weather. I think SJ is going to get a little extra help for Support.

    I get your frustration but know that someone will get to your support request soon. Sorry for the delay.
     
  12. Thanks for the response, but the 1st attempt was sent two weeks ago, is that standard wait time to hear something? Even when being flooded, how many people in support do you have? 3?

    I'm just glad it wasn't a very expensive piece...taught me a very important lesson though.. always go threw your local glass shop!

  14. Yep, grasscity has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Ordered something three months ago. 4 weeks after ordering I email them, they tell me to hang in there for 4 weeks. 6 weeks pass, I play it cool, I email them. No repsonse. I wait another week, email them again and wait. Nothing. Yesterday I call them and leave a message twice, no reponse. Today I call them 3 times and email them 6 times. The only way there going to respond is by flooding their email/ answering machine unforntunately. What do you expect- grasscity runs out of europe, need I say more?

  16. The main reason why people are having issues right now is due to Homeland Security and their thing...there's a sticky in this forum.

    SJ is just as upset over his cutomers not getting their packages in a timely manner as they are. However, he can't control what happens once he ships the packages.

    He's kept everyone updated in the sticky regarding the delay and a thread that's been ongoing.

    While I totally get the frustration, I can't just let the gentle bashing continue. I am completely aware that just about every customer that had a delay also sent something to Support regarding that delay. Imagine how many orders were affected by this big DHS fiasco...then imagine the amount of support issues that Support is dealing with.


    They'll take care of you.:) SJ wants all of his customers to be happy. I know you can't make every person happy but he sure tries to do it.
