does DDD sniff out seeds too?

Discussion in 'Marijuana Seeds Banks' started by mindblast, Apr 8, 2007.

  1. Some said drug detector dogs in airport actually can smells out
    marijuana and opium seeds.

    Is this true?

I might travel japan / south korea for couple months and
thinking about bring some seeds with me for gift to my friends..

  2. im going to go ahead and say that this isn't possible, i mean if you care enough just go to a garden store and buy a pack of seeds of, who knows, carrots and just put them in there

  3. dogs can be trained to smel detect anything but the customs dogs are to busy do line of coke that there nostrils are to burnt out to smell the week smel of seeds and in a plastic sealy bag even harder :D

  4. thanx guys :)

I just saw a news that one guy from States got caught up at somewhere in Japan airport for smuggling weeds on food can. (the one like tomato soup metal can at mart)

    My guess is

    1. can was not air-tightly resealed so DDD was able to smell it and chased him like hell. (dogs got X40 times of smelling than humans do)

    2. even though it was air-tight sealed, it still smelled (since MJ smells pretty strong)

    3. X-ray snapped suspicious things inside food can and customs opened it.

I never ordered seeds online yet but still wondering how some of orders actually get
    caught.

I know for sure that every 'package' go through X-ray so it is possible thay find
    seeds inside package.

However, if they just send it through a plain envelope, with some flat anti-crush pad or something, there must be thousands of letters arrive at post office daily so going through X-ray won't help much, right?

Do they just randomly open letters or parcel from specific country hoping to find
some interesting stuff in it or what? :smoking:

  5. If you have never seen Barry Cooper's Never Get Busted Again DVD, download it now and watch because he actually trained drug detector dogs and has a whole section on the DVD explaining exactly how dogs smell.

Basically they smell the way humans see, we are able to pick out carrots, beef, broth, but we smell stew. The dog on the other hand smells the carrots, smells the beef, smells the broth, they are able to pick out and smell every exact smell. So for packaging in a container, you need to make sure you do it right before you leave, wear some rubber gloves while you handle any contraband because it will go on your hands and on to whatever else you touch, so just throw them away when you are done.

Plastic bags are not air tight, they have microscopic holes in them and the smell will eventually permeate through the bag and the dogs will be able to smell it.
