Does BT (worm killer) go bad?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by tphy12, Aug 8, 2011.

  1. Hey guys, I have a bottle of BT that I bought 2 years ago for my grow that got infested with worms and have been using it ever since. However, I just noticed a couple of the bastards in one of my plants and it has me wondering if I need to buy a new bottle. It might have just been because I haven't sprayed the plants with the stuff in about a month or so and the worms did look to be pretty out of it as if the stuff had taken some effect on them but I'm still a little worried. Anyone know whether I should go out and buy a new bottle or if the stuff I have is fine?

  2. If your growing in soil id leave the worms they leave droppings behind that can be used as nutes. If fact some people buy worm castings just for that purpose.
    Are they doing damage?

  3. They're those budworms that get inside the flowers and chew em up until they turn brown. They definitely started to do some damage on one of my plants that flowered early as parts of the bud are browning and dying off.

  4. If your started flowering i wouldnt use anything on the bud.
Can you cut the effected area out?
