Does Anyone Have a Picture of

  1. What this might look like: You can tell if your plant if ready to force flower by looking at the nodes (where the leaves grow out of the stem). If two leaves grow out at the same part of the stem, it's not ready. If it grows one leaf, then grows up a little, then grows another leaf, that is called alternating nodes and it means your plant if ready to flower anytime the light is right

  2. That's a myth. The same technique has been said to determine sex. Many strains alternate nodes when stretching for light.

  3. Not a picture, but non-alternating looks like this:

    Alternating nodes looks like this:

  4. It has nothing to do with sex of the plant. Both males and females develop alternating nodes. It is a general indication that a plant is ready to flower. Google alternating nodes and plant maturity.

  5. I wasn't suggesting otherwise.

  6. i feel males ALWAYS have symmetrical nodes.

  7. Yeah I know you know better but I wanted to make sure the OP was clear.

  8. well 92% id say are symmetrical.
