Well, the holidaze are soon upon us. I was wondering if anyone made gifts to give for xmas or whenever? I usually feel really creative when I'm tokin' and like to work on crafty type things when it gets to be this time of year. It's nothing elaborate and usually pretty inexpensive. I made these last year. Their painted chip wood boxes that I filled with goodies Between the supplies and boxes they cost about 6$ a piece. So, show me yer giving spirit!
My boyfriend & I made each other gifts for Christmas last year due to being broke! I hand sewn him a penguin (his fav animal) from some fabric, I made it all from scratch! I was very proud of it. And he made me a cow print (my fav animal) candle screen thing, idk what they're called... but it's amazing! And illuminates my room very mellow like... It was really funny that we both made out own fav animals... bc they were surprises

I always have these grand ideas for things like that (especially sewing projects) in my head and can never get them to work. Will you make him something this year?
Yes I love surprises!!! And yeah, a lil stuffed animal, he has a few penguin stuffed animals that his friends give him bc he loves them, so I figured a hand made one made with love would top any store bought penguin, my fingers were bleeding by the time I was done! I made his tail, wings and bow tie stuffed and 3D looking, and I even made his mouth open! I'll post some pics... as for my candle holder I was really surprised by it! I don't think I could make one and it look as good as he made it! Idk if I could even come up with the idea!!! I love it light up! Excuse the dust, it's my top shelf A few mess ups, but it gives it characteristic and personality!!
My ex girlfriend have me a handmade pillow once a while ago. But then she cheated on me so one day I was laying on it and realized it was the most scratchiest shit I've ever laid my head on. So said "fuck this" and threw that shit at her at school one day. Oh high school....... On a side note, she started dating that guy and then they broke up cause she cheated on him with me.

If my girlfriend painte.... Wow I seriously almost wrote painted. If my girlfriend sewn me one of those I would love her forever.
A couple of years ago I wrote an original story for my nieces - I illustrated it with clip-art, printed it on my MiL's awesome printer and hand bound it - they LOVED it. Especially since I included the girls in the story.
I hope he loves it forever we broke up for a lil while and he shoved it in a crevice and asked me countless times if I wanted it back I painted him some penguins too though

I love to make and give home-made gifts. I've never realized a lot of savings by the time you purchase materials, but the gift is always one of a kind and it's something from the heart. Not a 45 minute shopping trip to Walmart( I've done that before too). Nothing like blazing and getting creative!
