Does anyone else feel like a brain in a body?

sorta understand, i dont feel human or anything really

 

You feel as if your vessel is surpassed by the immense abilities of the brain.. You want to escape, to flourish on your own..

I know exactly what you're talking about. Its called disassociation. The feeling your outside of your body sometimes, like your watching the world and just controlling your body from the outside.

I think its kind of depressing, but enlightening.

You either experienced depersonalization, derealization or dissociation, or a mix of 2 or more of those feelings.

Also important are the disorders that carry those names. Those psychological disorders are very similar to the feelings mentioned above, the only difference being is that the disorders are prolonged, constant and in the worst scenario, permanent.

i see it like you but its not depressing its enlighitng because you see with a new perspective and see the reality of the world around you.

I think it is called being disenfranchised, walk on mother earth to reconnect with world and body. You need to reconnect with earth's rhythm..

 

I feel like the other way around; a body filled with invasive brains.

 

I get something like that very occasionally, pretty much exclusively when stoned. I'll be drawing or typing or whatever I'm doing and I kinda zone out looking at my hands in disbelief that they are actually a part of me, just a disconnected feeling. Not as strong as a dissociative feeling you might get from certain legal and illegal substances. When it happens I try to just enjoy it and appreciate the experience although I don't think it's an innately pleasurable experience. It's possibly quite scary for some.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I was overcome by this feeling while under the influence of unmentionable psychedelics 2010 summer.

I didn't like the feeling.
