  13. Wow, you're making some crazy accusations pal.. But I'm not getting into my feelings about this. Besides, the definition for "middle class" is considered to be 120k a year. Not very middle class IMO but hey that's just me. So the numbers of who is affected by the new healthcare plan is widened by what they call "middle class."

But I do agree that it's wrong to make it a mandatory thing.

  14. For us folks that have been paying for healthcare for years...

In 2008 I was paying 37.50 out of my check everyweek to cover my whole family..
had some prety good coverage..1.25 for perscription as a example...

    Today...
I pay 87.95 a week for my health care, and perscriptions are 30-40 bucks...
    and the covereage sucks...

So for allot of folks , especially those whom dont pay..
prol seems like a great deal..But for us middle class..
this is got to stop..I cant afford to pay for lazy fucks to go to the doctor..
Get a job, dont count on the government to pay your bills..

beacuse...its not the government..Its us hard working folks that are getting taken advantage of..

  15. Hi Yoda,
During my 25 year self-employment my wife who provided healthcare for us & 4 daughters through her employer was unemployed & I had to pay for Kaiser to the tune of approx. $600 a month. That was basic healthcare, drugs, glasses, co-pay were additional. Fortunately that only lasted for 6 to 12 months, both occassions.
    Cheers:D

This. To be middle class you gotta be making at least 30+ dollars an hour. And thats considered lower-middle-class. Most of you are lower class if going by the numbers.

  17. $30 an hour isn't much, especially if you live in an area like San Francisco. Decent 3 bedroom house with family room will run you $2100 a month average.
Gas has doubled, electricity rates are going to 'necessarily skyrocket' and food prices are soaring especially at the wholesale level.
Don't know if I can stand another four years of hope & change.:D

  18. Boy you have that right...
    me either...thankfully im in michigan..
and ive recently moved outside of the city to get into a lower cost area,
as far as food and such goes. The worst thing is the 2 hour commute daily..
with gas prices ive also had to get another car thats a lil better on gas then the one I was driving,
    I have hope...and I know we need change.. But...
I think the hope and change that comes with Obama isnt the
hope and change most of us want..;)
