Doctor can't recommend me

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by HashBash, May 20, 2010.

  1. My docotor's office called me today and said they can't recommend medical marijuana because they are a teaching facility. They suggested I pursue another provider, which I am I sent them a medical release form for a clinic in Portland. I guess I just got to pay the fee.

  2. Try educating them. Might help, won't hurt! See the MMJ studies link in my sig? Click and read, then print up what you want!

  3. I think that might fall into the "receipiant of Federal funds blah blah ...":wave:

  4. Get your medical records ready and look for another doctor if.

  5. Exactly. Teaching facilities are often the recipients of Federal grants, which can be withdrawn if they give recommendations.
