It's the way you said it. You didn't sound enthusiastic about getting up at all. You hold on to the night and you don't get excited about the new day which is coming right at you but you wish it would never come, but inevitably the new day will replace the old day that you've been hanging on to so hard... until 3 AM in the morning when you couldn't possibly keep your eyes open so you HAD to let it go. Of course you didn't say ANY of that, but that's what I heard.
