Do you think its better to germinate in the light or dark?

    Do you think its better to germinate in the light or dark? Tell me what and why. In germinating some seeds in a cup of water under 103 watts of cfl's

    Do not germinate under light!! The root cannot be exposed to light! Take those lights out immediately if you want a nice beautiful plant in a couple months. And 103 watts of cfl is extremely too much light, even when it sprouts. You need to research a lot more about growing man..

    I was told 100 watts min per plant tho?

    103 watts of cfl is good enough for one plant when it is ready to be placed into veg, but while germination and sprouting, use only ONE of your CFL's. Do not place light on seedlings while germinating though.
