    So I've been smoking my fair share of years for someone my ripe young age, and I have never had a problem finding weed. I've always had friends that will pack one up for me, or will happily supply me with my own. Never any trouble. Till now. I grew up in a small town where there was nothing better to do than smoke weed those last few high school years. Now, I'm a bit older, out of school, and moved away. Low and behold, I move into a military town no bigger than the town i grew up in. (There are three towns that share the area code, but the base has its own o.0) Given that this is a military town, weed is a little harder to come by. I work with some fellow stoners, but those poor kids are always at the bottom of the bag they have, or scraping for resin. I feel bad asking if they know where to find. Once or twice they could hook me up, but like I said, they're dry, and so are their dealers. I've tried to poke on webehigh, but theres not even a listing for my town, or any town anywhere near me. (Bummer.)
     
    Now, I'm not looking for advice on how to find weed in a new town. I know it's rough, and I know it takes a bit to find a good, reliable dealer, so please dont tell me how to find it. I've made up my mind on how I'm going to do this: Im going to scope out some apartment complexes and the local college campus and see if I can find some stoner stereotypes. But clearly, I have a question with this.
     
    DO I REALLY JUST WALK UP, ASK FOR LIKE A LITER OR SOMETHING, THEN SAY "YOU SMOKE WEED, TOO, MAN?"
     
    Clearly I wouldnt say it that obviously, but still.
     
    What I really want to know is, HOW DO I START THIS CONVERSATION WITH A STRANGER? I dont want to scare them off. Anyone have any lines, hints, tips?

    I would probably try looking wherever people have a good time, whether its that strip of bars or that park people hang out at, and scope some peeps out there.
    If you know a hot chick, that will expedite things quite a bit, send her in there with the goal of scoring some weed. If a guy has weed and he meets a chick that is hot and clearly likes to party, he is definitely going to offer her some. Once that happens, she can finagle a connection out of the guy, even if its through him.  He sells to her hoping to score, she introduces you to him and he doesn't really care so long as you're not banging her. You guys get acquainted enough that he either lets in on his connection or he becomes your connection, and then she can slowly fade away into the background leaving you with a connection.

    She, being myself, my dear. I was thinking that, yeah, the low cut blouse would help. But I really need a convo starter here guys. What do I say? I was thinking, "Hey got a lite?" would work as a starter, and just pull the whole sorry i lost mine thing. But how do i start the convo about weed? I don't want to walk up to some stoner kids at an apartment complex with my boobs out and be like," Can i light my cigg with that? *lean over* where's the weed, gusy *lean over*." I want something smooth and experienced sounding. I've never had to ask a stranger lolol

    I say walk up to some people and ask for a light(assuming you smoke cigs).  Then casually bring up how difficult it is to find some herb in this town.  They will either say they can get some, or say they have no clue.  Even if the person you asked was completely anti pot they couldn't do anything.
     
    BTW if a chick came up to me asking for bud I would hook up with her...I mean hook her up. ;)

    Yeah you litterally just walk around going "know where I could find some trees"  "donde mota?" "hey can you help me find some smoke" etc etc  Once you're talking to someone, be honest, just tell them you're having a hard time finding some herb and you're sorry it has to be like this but you really don't have any other options.  
    I say skip the act and go straight for the punchline, just walk up and ask/ explain your situation.  Just be like "you guys look like you could help me out, know where I could find some herb?"
