I've been thinking for a while, are comic books losing popularity? I heard DC comics is really tanking. I tried to read some batman comics when I was younger (9-12) but I guess they were too dark because I didn't like them. So anyway, does anyone still buy marvel or dc comic books? I think the continuities are so convoluted these days its a little ridiculous. I never understood why there's so many different titles of comics for the same character.
They are very convoluted, but somehow still very entertaining lol. Fables and Sandman are two of my favorite series.
Fables is cool, I've read some. I went through a comic phase when I was younger, collected Ghost Rider, Spiderman, and Punisher. They were really good back in the 90's. I recently downloaded all the old Tales of Suspense, where I think Iron Man is first intro'd and I think it's the first occurance of the Avengers. Totally different writing, cheesy as fuck, but good.
