So I made this account solely to ask this question bc I couldn't find the answer anywhere else. A little background; I'd never drank or smoke previously and my friend and I had been planning to smoke together for months. Basically what happened was I smoked, and then my "friend" tricked me into drinking knowing I didn't want to. So I didn't know if I got high or not bc I was also drunk. I got cottonmouth pretty bad, so my question is; Do you only get cottonmouth if you get high? Or is it just from the smoke or something? I didn't cough so idk if I inhaled it right.
Dry mouth is a common side effect of marijuana. If you actually used google to do some research properly, you'd see that on every single page it brought up.
I get cottonmouth from a dentist when he sticks that vaccum inside my mouth and sucks up all the saliva.
Dear God no, but there are stories of One...It is said that this One would get cottonmouth only when they were high, the story has been handed down for ages. They told me that once this One made his presence known it would start a chain of majestic changes, starting with the World. No, you are special, you...You are...The One, Neo.
I know it is a side effect of marijuana. That wasn't what I was asking. I meant do you only get dry mouth if you got high, like some people don't get high their first time smoking would they still get cottonmouth?
They are separate from each other. Marijuana can get you high. Marijuana can give you dry mouth. The high and the dry mouth are not dependent on each other, they are dependent on you having used marijuana. So yes, you can get dry mouth without feeling like you got high after using marijuana.
