Do you have to have weed to quit

Discussion in 'Cannabis Consumption Q&A & Tips' started by Xfactor, Sep 10, 2012.

  1. Like, is it easier to quit with weed available or with weed out of the house?

keep in mind it takes me 24 hours notice for me to get a weed deal

  2. I don't know

  3. great answer Im glad you are contributing to the marijuana community

  4. Shouldn't this be obvious? If you don't have it, you can't smoke it.

  5. some tho still think that if you have it at least you hav the security

  6. its not heroin. just quit if you want to quit. "security"? no. why would you keep weed around if your not going to smoke anymore?

  7. It's definitely a relief when I come back from a trip that I couldn't smoke on with weed waiting for me. Makes the whole break from mary jane that much easier to enjoy, because she's happily awaiting your return :smoke:

  8. No...I am in my first semester of my freshman year and I have to take my first drug test soon for a UPM charge, and let me tell you coming here without having friends who I always smoke with and very few means of coming across weed, I rarely even think about smoking. I've been 'sober' from smoking for just over 2 weeks now. Out of sight, out of mind.

The security of what. Doing it again. With it around u are just enabling your self to do it.
    This logic makes no sense.

  10. I believe it is not legal because you can make cloths and paper and almost anything from hemp. The lumber industry would go down a lot. Also they wont or cant put a tax on it. Good old America always looking to make a buck ;)

  11. Just take a break. Obviously if you're thinking about quitting it, but also are forming irrational reasons like "security" to enable you to say you're gonna quit, and then smoke it anyway, you've formed a dependency. Take a break for a month or two, and (unless you have a job or actual reasons to quit smoking,) smoke it casually.

  12. If you actually want to quit then get rid of the weed, it's just a temptation. honestly if you actually wanted to quit then why would you need it?

  13. obviously easier when its not around, lowers temptation

to get a weed deal? lol

  14. interesting question...

ive never tried to quit with it around.
usually ill smoke my last bit and go for a t break.

maybe next time i pick some up ill just wait a week with it before blazing.
doubtfully ill make it a week, but its worth a shot

  15. Easier without the temptation around...
Personally I feel the same way about a bag of weed that I do about a bag of chips - I just can't leave it alone :p
