I did the search and PM'd some folks that might have suggestions but I want to build a concensus on the use of Purple Maxx by Humboldt County's own. Lots of the posts were from quite a while back and people might have learned more with the passage of time. I plan to dilute nutrient strength by one half, to about 600ppm's. I want to foliar feed using a 16 oz. sprayer and SM-90 as the wetting agent. I also use R/O water. I'm thinking 1/8 t. purple per that 16oz. water to 10ml. SM-90. I don't think that would be too strong. And how often should this be foliar fed? Thanks to all. Peace, VP
I've never used PMaxx. but there are some products made by the same company that are fantasic... there's Gravity, which has made my buds hard as a rock, there's Bushmahster (which helps plants in veg bush out and not stretch, and finally, there's Snow Storm Ultra... snow storm ultra is a formula based on the fact that they had 2 products (reg P Maxx, and reg Snow Storm) that overlapped... Snow Storm Ultra does just what it sounds like it does..make it look like there is snow (so many crystals) on top of your buds.... look into this company more..they make good products that are designed for MJ...(I am using Gravity and Snow Storm Ultra and I can tell you that that Gravity is AWESOME...rock hard buds
I bought the Gravity and the Purple Maxx... it's labled purple maxx/snow storm but there is no ultra on the label... npk values (0-0-3). The Gravity is (0-0.1-0). I'm about 23 days into flower today so I guess it's ok to start the foliar with the purple. What about my mixing ratios/ projected ppm values? How do you mix and apply it. I want to start small, it says on one of the bottles, less is better and I believe it. Thanks VP
Be very careful with the Gravity. Read the label. Add NO nutrients when you add the Gravity and cut the dosage in half. Gravity works but its easy to burn the shit out of your crop. Purple Maxx works pretty well. Never noticed a real significant increase in trichs.
