Do you have bud friends and real friends?

I do. My non high friends kinda screw with my buzz.

 

Everybody at my old highschool smoked

And damn near everyone at my college smokes. So my 'real' friends are my stoner friends aswell

I have friends who I smoke weed with, and they are my friends. We chill, eat, and spot eachother.

I have friends who I just chill with, one has Asthma & the other athletic who quit smoking weed, they're my friends too.

I kind of feel weird though discussing weed with my non-smoking friends.

 

My bud friends are my real friends.

 

A friends a friend. I dont base it on whether they smoke or not. It's always chill if they do though

 

For the most part.... None of your friends in High School are your real friends, they're just pussys who don't wanna be alone so they try to fit in, you don't chill with em outside of school only in school, at lunch, people to do projects with, etc. And when HS is over, so is your "friendships." It's the way life works.

Personally I've had buddies I smoked bud with, we were pot heads and shit, so we smoked pot together all the time, and chilled... Have like 5 hour conversations about the world, universe, life, that is life changing for the rest of our lives. We didn't ditch each other after we got high, because we were actually friends. You know? WE appreciated each others presence, not just someone to get high with. Was just a benefit that we happened to all be potheads.

I don't smoke anymore I quit, but I still chill my homies and shit... Just not as much cuz I don't blaze you know? I stopped being a pothead, and am doing Me, now. The time I spent smoking and doin nothing but chillin with my homies, now I do productive shit that benefits me. There are friends I don't see because they were friends of my friends (who strictly used me for bud) who I really fuckin miss, cuz they're real peeps, but the people they chill with are faggots, and they don't know, because they don't know em as well as I do.

So yeah, there are people that just use you to get high, they're not your friends, they're addicts... And they're are your few homies from HS you may keep, but for the most part you lose a fuck ton of your friends once HS is over, that's the test of who is real and who is fake.

editLike my dealer who I only picked up from since September was my cuz's best friends roommate, Me and my Cuz' met him (dealer) the same time, and now he's like our fuckin homie. 6 people live there or so, and like 30 people are always there, atleast 8-20 people always there smoking. The 6 that live there, are all my fuckin homies and the others that are there all the time are still my homies just not as close as the 6 main homies, even though I don't smoke anymore I still see em atleast once a week and chill for a couple hours. If I see em around town I'll chill and talk to em for like 10 minutes, and be like yeah son Ill be over tomorrow or some shit, send my love. They my fuckin homies.

When I quit smoking, I wasn't over the house for a month, because I knew I'd end up smoking if I went over there, it's just endless free bud. And they missed me, I was like Awwww, my fuckin homies... Missing me and shit even though I havn't known em that long, they're real people you know? Was nice having people I known for only 5 months miss my presence.

So they're fuckin mad awesome. Good people.

Now my friend who was my pot partner, known him since kindergarten... He kinda stopped being my friend 2 years ago(we been smoking partners for 3 and a half years) and was just smoking weed with me. The first year smoking we cosntantly talked and shit all the time, did adventourous stoner shit. Then the second year we stopped talking and shit and just got High. Now that we don't smoke together weed, we hardly see each other, and we talk even less than before. He was a friend and then turned into a dude who used me for bud. The same goes for his bro, who I known the same amount of time, and ended up just using me for my dank weed. I smoke my bud with anybody and everybody, it's what I do, and they knew that, and eventually it was like yo, you never throw down for shit, then they'd be like oh you such a jew, blah blah blah... And I was like fuck yall, I'm out.

The friends I hung out with during school were also friends that I hung out with afterschool. I only smoked with a few of them, but they were still friends.

Seems to me like you were just lonely in highschool.

 

Not really.. Ive had the same close friends + a few here and there through elementary and h.s. and i started smoking with them, and only smoke with them usually.. Ive smoked with a few other kids in the school on weekends at parties etc but wouldnt consider them close friends..just people your cool with and see everyday at school.

 

Nah homie, I had my close homies in high school, but after I peaced outta high school, they were not my homies. I had my friends in HS I chilled with outside of HS, but they were snakes. I got my true homies now. I've had homies I've known for 13 years that aint my family no more... Cuz people change.

 

I have both kinds of friends but they are mainly the ones i get high with some people that used to be my friends were just using me for bud so i basically told them to fuck off haha

 

For the most part, my bud friends are my real friends.

I have a few female friends who no longer smoke, but everyone smokes in this town.

 

For topic creator and others still in HS: Don't read too much into HS. A few years after graduating it will all be a distant memory, good and bad.

As for myself, I have a lot of bud aquaintances. I blaze with probably a few people each day when they need to come over. And when I need to go to my dude's place to pick up, I blaze with him as well. But I wouldn't consider any of them my friends. There's definitely some I favorite over others, and regard higher than others--but business is business. If I met you through marijuana dealings, your just an unofficial business partner to me. Relationships grow over time, so does trust--but I don't think I've ever came really close to someone who I met through marijuana world and not just friends from the get-go.

I have a very small handful of true, good friends that I blaze with.

 

I have 3 best friends. 2 of them smoke rarely. Probably about once a month. (always with me + others) and then the other close friend & I smoke together whenever we do. It works out pretty well although sometimes when im with one of the other two it's kinda annoying that they aren't as enthusiastic about it as me.
