Hi everyone, since I really love fishing, I was wondering if some of you stoners on that forum share the same passion. If you do love fish and smoke as me tell us where you fish and what type of fish you catching!
usually only fish in the summer, hate the cold, but would like to go in winter i hear fish are bigger. i mostly fish at the inlet with my cousin and we catch flounder, seabass, blackfish, and basically anything else that shows up. i went on a bluefishing boat for my birthday, and boy that was the best fishing i ever had. it was a good day, pretty much everyone caught at least 2 or 3, and when you felt that blue catch on to your pole, you better be fuckin ready or youll end up paying for that pole you just lost hahaha had nice bruises on my ribs that night, it was so worth it. and sometimes i like to just throw a lure in my local small lake, ive caught huge pike and bass, and sometimes trout. always a good day when you catch, big or small.
HELL YA. Really tho ever since moving down to florida inshore saltwater fishing has become such a passion i couldnt imagine living without it now. Im from NE florida and go for all inshore species( redfish, speckled trout, flounder, pompey or black drum, and sheepshead which are biting really good right now)
http://forum.grasscity.com/great-outdoors/736714-fish-stories-o-fish-al-pics-thread.html You will like that thread OP ^^^^ It's in the Great Outdoors section and has thousands of posts and is still getting bumped daily.
^^Agreed(directed at lsd's comment) I would like to see some of the responses here in general seeing how the outdoors section only gets a few viewers at as opposed to a couple hundred here in general.
yeah i fish all year round, there are steelhead in the winter, salmon in the spring, then summer salmon and steel head, the fall salmon(usually go for coho salmon), then steelhead in winter. pretty much only fishes i go for and trout also
Yeah it's kind of a bummer when people make threads with potential and then they get moved to a dead or low traffic section where they just get buried.
I haven't been fishing for years, but my dream fishing trip is to Wollaston Lake Lodge for the Canadian grand slam: Northern, Lakers, Walleye and Greyling. Grand Slam Fishing: Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Walleye & Arctic Grayling - WollastonLakeLodge.com
I was born into a HUGE fishing familiy. My Dad, Uncle and I are Fishing guides so I fish 4-6 times a week.
i love fishing! haven't gone in a couple years tho unfourtunatly. even tho i live 7 miles from the beach ive never ocean fished. we'd always drive up by mammoth mountain to this place called june lake, and fish and hang out for a couple weeks, shit was the beez neez.
We mostly target Redfish on the flyrod but also target many other species year round. Guiding isn't really all it seems...It can be stressfull, repetitive, backbreaking and challenging work (Which is why im also in College to get a 'real' job). Our Fishing lines are what weave the fabric of which IS my family. A couple times a week my entire extended family meets for dinner at my Grandmas and we usually eat the seafood we catch - Which is pretty cool perk.
Who doesn't? haha Lake Erie is always a fun trip I take with a few friends every year. I've done some of my best fishing though in the Delaware Bay Area.
Here in Montreal the icefishing season has officially started! I caught a small musky; what a surprise and a big walleye around 7 pounds! Here are the pics!
