So I am on my first grow and have had a few accidents, but eventually will have 5 plants growing. By the time I harvest (hopefully) we will be moving. My hope is to get an oz off each plant, so hopefully it will last me a while and I wont have to grow for a long time. I am not in a legalized state, so of course there is paranoia about getting caught. We will be owning our own home soon, but the fear will still be there. Does anyone grow perpetually in stealth? Why do you do that? Do you worry about the possibility of getting caught? Tl;dr: Do you worry about getting caught and does that influence how often or much you grow?
I don't really worry. I pay my electricity on time and live in a very cool spot. The one person (outside of GC) who knows I grow is my girlfriend who lives with me, and I trust the shit out of her.. I just have everything in my spare room and when I have friends over (not often) I just lock that shit up. Of course, my setup is pretty small, so its not hard to onceal. Still though, I get about a half a pound per yeild...
Stealth is pretty hard without discrete dedicated rooms. Noise will get you every time. I'm working my way back to two in flower and two in veg all the time. More then enough to keep me stocked.
I live in the woods with no visible neighbors and it's been yeeeears since I had an unexpected guest so, yeah I try not to worry too much.
Me and the guy I get clones from are the only people who know my business and its staying that way. My set up is small and in a grow room that's attached but enters separate from the main house. From the outside it looks like just part of my house. People come over and have no idea what's on the other side of the wall. I live here with my 2 kids. Legalize it nationwide tomorrow and my affairs are still going to be carried on in the same manner. Does it influence how ofter or how much I grow? In a way I guess. Not from the fear of being caught but it limits how much I grow because I'm limited to the confines of my grow space. It doesn't influence how often I grow because I plan on always having something growing. I'll be hopefully moving in the spring but no matter where I live I plan on continuing in the same manner.
