Do you ever regret starting?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by amsterdamage, Aug 21, 2008.

  1. A question for long-time smokers, especially those who are "heavy" smokers (all day, every day)

if you could go back in time to the day you first tried marijuana and stop yourself from smoking that first joint, would you? ..do you regret ever starting and wish you hadn't??

I'm in the category of long-time, heavy smokers and I know I wouldn't have missed out on a life with marijuana for anything. I love it, it hasn't prevented me from doing anything that I wanted and it's added a ton of good times to my life. I've had no negative repercussions from smoking and I have no regrets about having started. ..just wanted to know how other people feel :smoke:

  2. all i know is that my life would have been alot different than what it is right now. i don't regret anything though. i still got into a good university and what not. i loved smoking with my friends back in high school anyways it was soooo fun hahah

  3. I dont regret it but If I could go back I would buy a vaporizer when I first started so my lungs would not be messed up

  4. Never. I have had some great times with my friends. It has opened my thought processes, and it has actually made me smarter. It has helped me get in touch with myself spiritually and it also eventually led me to entheogens. It has played a significant part of my life. I do not regret anything.

  5. I don't know if I could ever regret smoking the herb, but I do sometimes wonder how different my life would be if I didn't.

  6. Never regretted starting, there's so much I gained from marijuana. But smoking daily I've definitely regretted when I can't remember a damn thing from the week before. So I stopped smoking daily, no more regret!:hello:

  7. i dont know if my smoking career would fall under the category of seasoned

but whenever i think of what my life would be like in the absence of marijuana,

    i cant picture it.

i cant possibly imagine the person id be,

dont want to either. . .

thinking about what could have been and what would be isnt pleasurable

i made a decision, kept making it. .

now thats part of my life

    ima ride it out.

    :smoke:

  8. yes i agree 100%

its god greast gift to man and woman

  9. Sometimes its constraining to have to smoke to get to bed at a regular time, or to smoke to enjoy a specific acitivity. Or even to have a good day. I guess thats what happens when you smoke as much as I do. T-breaking is always a nightmare for me with the sweats and cynical thinking. So I guess I regret it because it took slight control over my life; but do I enjoy it? Hell yeah

  10. I thought we'd pretty much feel the same way ;)

..but I bet I'd have got much different answers if I asked my question on a alcohol, tobacco or heroin forum lol

  11. i dont regret strating but i regret very much starting in 6th grade if i could i would start after college and not get kicked out of my first 2 schools

  12. no not really even though my parents knows i smoke bud i dont regret it..
Without Ganja i wouldnt be the person that iam noww.

  13. I don't regret it one bit, but I do wonder what life would be like if I never started.

  14. I know what my life would be like if I never started. I'd be another Propoganda driven american consumer. The only two things I'd know is how to work and how to buy. slowly start drifting into the robo-sapian race. I'm glad I blaze it

  15. I've always been an individual minded person and think that weed goes great with who I am and life in general. without weed I would probably be more of a negative person.

I defently don't regret starting, I don't toke all day like I used to, and I think it's great to have something that is always there for me (at least when I'm home). Let's just hope the laws get changed!!

  16. I regret starting with the wrong group of kids. Ive been in trouble a bunch of times because of my dumbass friends but nothing bad has happened besides that

  17. Not one bit. I've had plenty of good times smoking, few if any bad times. I've only been smoking for 8 months now, but I feel like I've changed in some positive ways since I started. I don't really see myself quitting anytime soon.

  18. yeah all i know is that my life would be way different. weed has given me so many great times (and some not so great times). its all a part of my life

  19. nope, i dont regret a thing
