Do You Ever Just Think About Stopping Completely?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by qwerty man, Sep 3, 2011.

  1. I've been smoking for 5 years now, and I don't know...sometimes I just don't even know why I'm smoking. It's become a routine, you know? You pack bowls, smoke, you feel 'good', then keep doing it again and it NEVER ends. You ALWAYS want to keep smoking more and more and more. The longest break I've taken was 3 weeks in high school to prepare for the SATs (did great btw). Other than that, it's been 5 years of constant smoking, some periods heavier than others.

Sometimes I just think what if I threw away all my weed, stopped smoking and never looked back? But it's like, that's so far from being a reality because smoking is just part of who I am now.

ahhh I don't even know anymore
I guess it's just a wall in my smoking career..

  2. No man never. But thats just me. I think i will probably smokin for the rest of my life unless something drastic happens

  3. If you want to do it, do it, if you don't, don't.

  4. i think im about stopping, but not completely, i havent been high in over a month, but thats all gonna change next week YA BUDDDY

  5. ive never considering stopping forever since like 3 months after i started, back in soph year high school. long story short, some bitch who i liked at the time tried to get me to stop smoking cuz shes anti-weed. basically she wanted to go out with me but she doesnt wana be seen with a pothead. i almost stopped for her but luckily my friends knocked some sense into me, thank god for that. anyway i cursed that whore off and then smoked some dank buds, and coined the phrase "budz b4 bitches". since then, ive never considered quitting. in today's world, its easy to get all stressed out, but very dangerous to your health. thats y i smoke weed(oh and cuz it gets u high). i think most people who start in high school quit before getting out of school completely, but im not going to have to, since im lucky enough to be going into a family business which doesnt drug test. so no, i dont think seriously about stopping forever.

  6. yea some times but when that happens i just smoke till that horrible feeling goes away :smoke:

  7. i always wake up with tons of mucus in my throat that i gotta hack out. it really sucks!

  8. Not to be a dick but I defiantly would have gone after her pussy and still smoked all the time.

  9. When I get outta college and get a real job or when I get a wife and kids.

  10. Come on Matt Damon, everyone already knows you're a pothead, and you have more than enough money to buy the super sticky-icky. If you stop your movies will start to suck. You musta been on a break during Ocean's 12 and 13, Stuck On You, and The Brothers Grimm. :smoke:

  11. damn dude i can understand that completely...i have considered quitting completely a few times...and i have a heavy passion for cannabis...like i feel like it was meant for me to smoke weed my whole life....sometimes you hit roadblocks, as you mentioned, that make you question your connection with marijuana....if your meant to quit then something will happen or push you to do so...if not then you shall continue your smoking habbits...i quit smoking for 2 weeks(longest ive went without smoking in 3 years) and i became sick as fuck for the first time in years.. i also suffer from severe migraines time to time and marijuana is the only thing that can ease the pain they cause....for me its just a way of life to smoke and i actually do gain medicinal benefits from cannabis...

  12. No, but then I don't just smoke and smoke and smoke. If I never stopped id probably feel the same as you do. My new schedule is a bowl in the afternoon(sometimes) and a bowl or two at night. I can't just keep smoking though I find it hard to keep going if I'm alone. Once I'm high I'm good, I don't see the need to go any further. Unless its at night, but even then I can't smoke more then like 3 bowls. I will and do take breaks from smoking, but I will always come back to it when I can.

Maybe you should stop or if not stop then cut back if you want... it sounds like you kind of want to stop for a while but don't know how.

  13. I've done that
    Just considering quiting all together
but what's the point? Smoking weed doesn't hurt, so if you can afford it, then go for it

  14. Definitely take breaks. It is a must for any daily toker. I was feeling like you before I started taking breaks, it's totally different now. I'm on my longest one ever. Started the July 2nd. The only time I've blazed since then was one night with a couple of friends in the beginning of this month.. I am actually so anxiously anticipating the next time I grab, I'm going to appreciate it so much more.

    Take a break, it's time.

  15. I've been smoking weed forever's, it saved my life when I was 14, and honestly any substance can be abused. Thankfully cannabis doesn't have physical holds on you, so you can start an stop. Like for the last month and a half i smoked like an eigth a day sometimes less sometimes more, but for the last 11 days i haven't smoked at all. I have weed in my house, right next to me, but it's kinda like eh I don't wanna go to the beach today, except with weed instead. So just take breaks if you feel like that man like I'm packin a bowl right now and am bout ta get ripped since my tolerence has dropped the last (almost) two weeks. But I've just stopped for 3 1/2 months about a year ago and it's not like I wanted to stop for some reason I was just like eh. But 85%+ of the time I'm completely fuckin blazed. Happy Tokin! :)

  16. Yeah, for T-breaks.

  17. I don't tend to think about it. I can quit anytime I want, it's just a case of I don't want to quit. I don't see any reason to. I've got a reasonably well paid job, I have my own place and all my friends are stoners. So I can afford it (smoke pretty much every day), I'm not stepping on anyones toes to get high (i.e. I'm not hiding anything from my mother), I'm not causing anyone any harm and I'm having a great time.
