I don't, you definitely can remove those tho.

 

Indoor there is no point to keep the lower stuff. I do lollipop on my plants. That lower stuff just doesnt get enough light and it turns into wasted energy.

I woukd trim it

 

i'd leave the bottom 1/3 of the plant bare for indoor growing .. unless you have side lighting

i would say yes .. indoor lights aren't going to have the same kind of penetration as the natural sun. the crappy light that the bottom of the plant is getting is just wasted energy for the plant. trim that stuff off and it will force the plant to redirect it's energy to the important buds near the light.

 

With autos, stress id's the bigger concern
