The mainstream media always pushes the issue of polluting the environment, and while It is obviously true that we as humans do destroy the environment, as an individual, does one person really make a difference? The Majority of the population will continue to drive Gas operated vehicles, operate factories which burn chemicals in the air, Litter, throw batteries, plastic and paper in the garbage instead of recycling, and so on. Personally the only type of recycling I do is giving used oil to AutoZone. Thoughts ?
I try to make my best effort to recycle and often give consideration to walking ditches and picking up the trash because I can't stand seeing trash on the side of the road. That's about as far as I go though.
your poop goes to the processing plant where they turn it in to fertilizer that is used to grow the plants you eat, which is used to grow the food you eat. It's a cycle. Like the cycle of life. Now you got me tearing up and shit
Yea, I do. I try to recycle and throw my garbage in the trash but I'm not hardcore eco-friendly or anything like that.
Also they turn our poop into the water that we shower in and drink But poop doesn't pollute. I'm talking about littering and greenhouse gases mostly
i try not to litter and i try to call my friends out when they just throw the trash on the ground. and i clean up any garbage i see on the beach. but thats about it to be honest.. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I was never one of those people that can just consciously litter. I would feel guilty. 👀 Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
I spray aerosol cans up at the ozone layer sometimes. I'm only joking, I recycle almost everything. It's really convenient that there's city recycling bins on the other side of the parking lot where I live. So usually we just keep shit seperated, then when a bag gets full we just take it out when we leave. We don't go out of our way to be super green but for the most part we buy from local farmers markets, recycle, etc.
I do my bit. Recycle, conserve and reuse but I'm not picketing or debating the issues with people. Just do your bit.
When I was at the landfill I saw a recycling truck dump an entire load of glass bottles into the earth. So I get a kick out of anybody who thinks they're green when they've become the hypocrite that I loathe. I'm not responsible for oil in my lakes or oceans, so that at least makes me look like less of a footprint.
I dont really care about it too much, even if everyone in the US switched to complete green energy and full on recycled. China and other delevoping third world countries that are becoming giant industrialized countries will kill the earth regardless.
I'm the same, it gets to a point that I'll hold on to whatever trash I have like putting wrappers in my pocket, and whatnot till I find a trash bin to put it in.
Yes, exactly and sometimes I feel like I'm the only one doing that. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Hell yeah. Everyone should. I mean fuck, they don't need to be eco terrorists, they just need to do their part and recycle. We need to stop using fossil fuels (dead dinosaurs) that create green house gasses. We need to stop using that shit completely. An iceberg the size of Atlanta broke off of Antartica and is now floating in the ocean. Scenarios like this will only increase due to humanity's carelessness and greed
Yeah I care about the enviroment....I live in it Its so simple to recycle and not throw trash out the window! Think about future generations......
