Do you believe in God?

  1. Man, I'd love to...I've always wanted to visit British Columbia. I always have liked the Left Coast better than the Right. I'm back on the Right for the past 20 yrs, but before that, lived in Colorado. Beautiful state. Definitely going back out West after my son graduates HS.
But eventually coming to Van. That's what I meant instead of stores...just around in coffee shops or weed clubs. Still...damn, that's like 150% better than anywhere in the U.S. Yeah dude, I'll definitely let you know when I'm heading out.

  2. Now let me just say i am not religious at all, but you have to be an idiot to believe that there isnt some kind of creator responsible for all of this, what, do you think we just spawned out of nothing and magically came about these universal principles? Look up in the sky, when you look at the stars you get that feeling of aww, or from music, or from a sunset, why do you think we humans experience this feeling of aww? to me it seems like some sort of cheep reprensentation of some kind of afterlife.

  3. ^^^ ok, your only argument is that its doesnt make sense for us to just "pop!" out of nowhere.

so where the hell did your "creator" come from....

    POP!

(dont mean to sounds rude, i get your point, but if your going to apply your logic to one side, its fair to use it against the other)

  4. It really is a question that cannot be argued, well sure it can, but ultimately it is beyond our comprehension, i mean either way you put up an arguement, it will remain contradictory.

  5. Exactly...this is 1 of the subjects you can argue all day & night & nobody will convince the other differently. Kind of a waste of breath...that I'd rather be using to breathe weed smoke. Nobody's ever going to win or lose this argument. It's just arguing for the sake of arguing. We're all going to have our distinct opinions by now that nobody's going to change, so in conclusion, I'd like to finish by ending. :hippie:

  6. eheheh. i wish i coulda seen that cow let it rip all over his car. if you had caught that on film, you coulda got it played on realtv. or one of those funniest videos shows or somethin.. :D

as for do i believe in god? nope. i think when you die you become nothin but a corpse. are hitler and that nun teresa or whatever she was in the same place? yes and no. yes because nothing anyone does here really matters (translation: when i die, fuck the world :D), but also no, because i think when you die, you go no where. you = nothing. because it seems silly to believe, i mean seriously believe like "this is where i'm goin if i do this. if i go to church blahblah follow some rules, i go here after i die"...
almost makes me want to say.. people watch too much tv. :D eheheh.. but really, has god ever spoken to you like "hey don't do that"? no? i wonder why..
actually, how do you know about "god/heaven/hell" at all? someone told you about it. a person. a person told that person that told that person, all the way up to the people that dreamt up the religion in the first place.
    god is man made.
people say "something had to have started everything". whatever it was, it sure wasn't some invisible guy in the sky. :D i can't believe people believe somethin magically waggled its fingers and poof everything exists. i mean REALLY, religion = a big ass fairy tale..
but, eh, why should anyone care who believes what, as though it makes any difference to believe in anything at all.

  7. naw no god for me i let go of catholisism and now embrace buddhas eight fold path and four noble truths. God has let me down in to many ways. however sometimes when im realy lost i find my self praying. but the church is too corrupt.

  8. I agree that organized religions are just money-making, war-starting groups of people that want everyone to think the exact same way they do. Nah, organized religion is none too cool, but to say that there isn't a God because you've never seen him is fuckin ridiculous. Ever seen 'air'? Think it's there? There's millions of things that exist even though 'you' haven't seen them. Of course God exists. I would love to see all these peoples' faces after they croak & are standing in front of God, in front of His desk in His office behind cloud 9. They'll be in for a big surprise then when He decides their assignment for eternity is cleaning all the hell bathrooms with a toothbrush, right where Hitler just took a shit after he ate some of Lucifer's hellmade chili. Nasty job that'll be, seriously. :hippie:

  9. Yes.

Why'd you want it to piss on his car? You didn't like him? lol

  10. "to say that there isn't a God because you've never seen him is fuckin ridiculous"
but really, what other reasons are there to say there isn't a god?
to say that there is a god because that's what you've been told (whether you think that is why you believe or not, it is) is pretty ridiculous. you can say somethin like "i woulda discovered the righteousness on my own even if the idea of god had never been mentioned to me" but there's no way to argue that. unless you go have a kid (many many test subjects required that can't be influenced in any way) and isolate em from the world just for that very experiment. heheh.
i'm not a non-believer just because i've never seen/heard/witnessed em in any way, but because of that in combination with as i said, how do you know about god? people told you about em, people told them about em. so at some point "god" had to communicate its existance. and i just can't see that happening..
i can more easily believe that whoever communicated was hallucinating/crazy.
i keep losing my train of thought :D because there are so many religions, i was raised roman catholic, so it's the most easily arguable subject for me.
but what i'm saying can be said about any/all religions/notions of the afterlife. it's all man made.

  11. Yeah, I was raised Roman Catholic too. I don't buy a lot of it, but I definitely believe there is a God...& a Heaven & hell. Hitler's in hell & Mother Teresa's in Heaven. This is a well-known fact with all of us. Just like Attila the Hun is in hell & Honey Attila is in porn. See how that works? Genghis Kahn is in Heaven & Connie Genghis is in the bar. Is any of this getting thru to you? :hippie:

  12. ha... i think krazihare didn't put this in spirituality and philosophy 'cause he know's i'll stir up the hornet's nest a little :D LMAO!! (i'm just effin around btw).

but yes... i believe in God... i've seen so much proof it'd be impossible not to..

ack... speaking of proof... i'm still working on that site... i'm so far behind. lol. i need to stop procrastinating. (it would be done by now if it weren't so tedious making a website in notepad).

for those of you who have no idea what i'm talking about, there will eventually be a link in my signature... i suggest everyone check it out (when i finally get around to finishing up)... i got most of the big parts done. i just need to change some things around, polish 'em up (proof reading, etc.), and add some more smaller sections...

  13. When a righteous person makes it to Heaven, all questions are answered. For instance, are there aliens & UFOs at Area 51? Did the CIA & the Mafia partner-up in 1963 to kill JFK? Did Bobby & John Kennedy have Marilyn Monroe killed? Is weed the answer to all our problems? :hippie:
Btw, the answer to all these questions is "yes"...I know that to be true because I'm half-dead.

  14. I stand here in the middle of the battle field...to the left we have non believers ...to the right believers. To say there is a God is only in faith or in being brainwashed by society tro believe soo... to rebel against these accepted values and say there isnt a God to me takes a stance against many intelligent and learned men and women. So where do u look to for answer? Nowhere here on Earth can a fulfilling answer be found...if we are brought up to the gates of heaven...then will we know the glory of God...if we do not mae this trip then we can accept that there wasnt a God. As to whoever said if there wasn't a God the were would be mass hysteria(sp) that is uttter bullshit...sorry for my obscenity but people who believe they are in the right can kill another man (as in John Brown tkaing out slave holder...he convinced himself there was a God and he was working in ways he wanted to0. So what stops us? Our intelligence, our ability to learn from what has been done in the past, and also our moral standards (not everyone has to believe in God to believe in the betterment of the human race). As to who stated if there wasnt a God the reply then where or how did the Creator come from stands in your arguement as well. The onyl people i believe are wrong in this endless arguement are the people that think that only they are right and try to impose their beliefs onto others. "To each his own.'

  15. Yeah, huh<--------------------------->Nuh, uhh :hippie:

  16. i do belive in god, a god named mary jane
haha but for real, i dont know, i think everyone has doubts but doesnt acknowledge those doubts in fear that there really is one and youll go to 'hell' if you dont believe, i guess there is no way to know for sure, the best way to go about things is to live your life as a giving kind person, cuz what my momma always said better safe then sorry
