is this the beginning of spider mites?

This one is 13 days old, fem, grown from seed. Bio bizz light mix Soil, 400w MH, just water until now. Temps and humidity are good mostly, around 25C/77F & 50-60% H .

Sometimes it gets too hot and dry when the water from the humidifier runs out but never for long.

It just on one plant of 6, although it seems to start at another one.

Any ideas what it could be and how to go forward?

  2. I would be hard pressed to think a 13 day old plant could have visible mite damage. Visible damage and webs are more indicative of an ongoing problem that was never triaged properly....but again, I dont know how long your grow has been going, how many rooms you are operating in, what your IPM process is, etc. so im just theorizing....

If you don't have one, buy a 10 dollar mechanical loupe or a 20 dollar digital one and check the underside of your leaves for creepy crawlies or eggs. (just dont mistake eggs for the diff types of trichomes)

  3. This is my only tent and the only plants aside from houseplants.
I also did not notice anything on the plant yesterday. It seemingly appeared overnight.

Will try if I can see something with the loupe I have.

  5. Should I read this line as....I gave the plant a bottled nutrient mix within the past week?

"This one is 13 days old, fem, grown from seed. Bio bizz light mix Soil, 400w MH, just water until now"

  6. No I have not given them any nutrients yet. They are in a soilmix by BioBizz, it‘s called light mix and should not be causing any nute burn.

  7. So this looks like a nutrient burn to you? that would be very unusual as I am growing in light mix, and have not given any nutrients. Just a root stimulant called bactohemp.

  8. its extremely difficult for any grower, newer or advanced to be able to accurately diagnosis a grow problem just by viewing a picture of a leaf. We can only provide general thoughts based on the amount of information provided.

  9. do a slurry test maybe got a hot bag

  10. yes its burn, I gave you a link to peruse, to assert my assertion

the only gardeners who don't visit here now are the ones that avoided 'our' advice

    bye bye

  11. I‘m trying to learn here and appreciate everyone who takes the time to answer!

I just always thought that the first signs of nute burn are yellow tips, which I am not seeing.
Couldnt find anything about yellow/brown spots related to nute burn in the link either but if I am missing something, I’m curious to know!
