American's will eventually realise that conservatism is stalling progression in our nation. Considering that conservatives are more concerned with backing the businesses that backed them (oil is a prime example). We won't see any more scientific break throughs until the people get rid of the conservative party. We could have had a hydrogen powered car by now if the government would've funded the research years and years ago when they found out that not only is oil in limited supply, but that hydrogen is also a viable replacement. Now gas is nearing insane prices per gallon and probably won't go down. We continue to wreck beautiful plots of land just so we can get more. It's pathetic honestly? Do I hate Bush? No, I hate all the backward thinkers that voted for him, it's the American people's fault that we have such a close-minded moron as our national leader. What we need is a economic and an environmentalist president in 2008. Someone who realises that in our current state we cannot afford to be pussy footing around in some desert killing Arabs and spending billions upon billions of dollars. That money should be going to the people, not thrown away on death. If they just look a fraction of the money they spend overseas and applied it to the homeland, we'd have such a better education system. If they spent a fraction of the money and put it into hydrogen research, we'd have a much safe environment and we could finally dismantel those disgusting oil rigs that pollute our beautiful country. And maybe, just maybe, if they realised how stupid this war on marijuana is they'd finally legalize hemp and we could stop destroying centuries of growth in mother nature. I don't blame Bush, I blame everyone else, including me because it's so much easier just to sit back and not do anything.

i really can't stand bush. i've never really disliked a president before (not that there have been too many in my lifetime that i've know or anything) but i actually liked him before the whole war business. i think we went to war on false pretenses and now our troops are over there dying for, essentially, nothing. i dont know who made america the WORLD POLICE anyway! obviously the rest of the world agrees with my opinion... at least from what i've seen.

its pretty fucked up.....we are caught in a cycle of retoric that was started before most of us were born....the bad side is we have to wait it out until at least one more generation fades into history... If memory serves me our first world police effort was the Korean war....if you look back...our presence there....may have slowed down the north Koreans....but as you know they STILL remain a sore spot in the world of politics and Human rights...Not to mention there insistance on bringing their nuclear capabilities to fruition....since that war all of our Police actions have been disasters just like Korea ended up I will not be surprised at all if I live to see North Korea become the Next country to use a Nuke and the first to use one as aggression not as a finality. i kinda hate bush. actually, i really, really hate bush. I started out not liking him because I hated Jeb, and then it got worse.
