Do They Sell Pre-Made Tinctures In Legal Dispensaries?

    Hello,
     
    I'm new to this site (this is my first night and first post). From what I've read on here, the state I live in (CA)would qualify me for a card based on my chronic migraines (and inability to tolerate the so-called preventative Frankenstein drugs) and a year-long case of chronically painful, undiagnosed-but-probably tendinitis in my left upper arm/shoulder area.  I have no insurance until I finish school and get a job in about 6 months, hence no money to pay the thousands of dollars for an MRI to see what's up with the damn shoulder in the mean time.  I have been using whatever effective pain management supplies I can get my hands on, but it's all unreliable and expensive, with side effects (such as occasional involuntary withdrawal when all sources are dry) that I'd just as soon avoid if possible.
     
    The thing is, I don't know how to find a doctor who would give me a card.  And also I was reading up on tinctures on this site, and it sounded like some were homemade, though and at least one person had bought his at a dispensary.  The one at the dispensary did not get him high.  That is the kind I am looking for - the kind that will help with pain, but not get me stoned. I'm about to start school and I'm just not one of those people who can smoke up and skate through class anyway.
