so my plant is just over two weeks old and both of its cotyledons (oval baby leaves) are turning yellow... the color spreads throughout both leaves more everyday but doesnt move on to the other fan leaves... is this normal??
mine did the same thing, i just cut off all the 3 leaf sets to the stalk, havent seen my 5 leafs yellow yet so i think its just natural
yes, they serve no purpose once the plant has about 2 leaf sets. they're pretty much only there to get the plant going when it sprouts.
Noobs helping noobs. What type of soil are you using? Yes, cotelydons are the first leaves to go, but isnt always normal. Its a challenge to get them to stay alive as long as you can. 2 weeks isnt very long.
