do terrorists really exist?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by yurigadaisukida, Feb 21, 2013.

  1. The us takes out targets daily. we are told they are terrorists.

But since there isn't a trial we take their word for it.

  2. there isnt a need for a trial when they do it right out in the open. here I found a few pictures of some terrorists incase anybody is interested in seeing what they look like

  3. Terrorist and freedom fighter. Gotta watch out for tricky words.

  4. I think a terrorist is someone who purposely targets civilians for the sake of "causing terror"

I'm sure there are terrorists. I'm not sure they are a threat to us blades who are Americans.

I am not sure why the country I live in spends billions annually defending other countries.

Jesse Ventura once said "The United States is not in any threat, [Al-Qaeda] is not going to do a Normandy invasion on us in Virginia"

    A sentiment I agree with.

  6. well if you don't consider a suicide bomber a terrorist then i don't know what to say to you.

  7. Yes they exist alright, they are hiding in the shadows lurking in the the cities waiting to strike at the most opportune moment! So lets just give up all of our freedom just to be safe...;)

But really tho you havnt heard? we are all terrorists these days.

U.S. Military May Consider You a Potential Terrorist If You Are Young, Use Social Media, Or Question

The following actions may get an American citizen living on U.S. soil labeled as a “suspected terrorist” today:

    Being young

    Reporting or doing journalism

    Speaking out against government policies

    Protesting anything

    Questioning war

Criticizing the government’s targeting of innocent civilians with drones

    Asking questions about pollution

Paying cash at an Internet cafe

Asking questions about Wall Street shenanigans

    Holding gold

    Creating alternative currencies

Stocking up on more than 7 days of food

Having bumper stickers saying things like “Know Your Rights Or Lose Them”

    Investigating factory farming

    Infringing a copyright

    Taking pictures or videos

    Talking to police officers

    Wearing a hoodie

    Driving a van

  8. But why is the us or affiliates so often a target? Because they dislike the American lifestyle or because America keeps on fucking with them and their turf.

I'd do the same if I was in their shoes.

As the terrorist in Harold and kumar said "some call us terrorists.... Some call us heroes"

Hits the nail on the spot, even though its an American comedy movie

  9. Do they naturally exist?

No, they are byproducts of the actions undertaken by various governments. Whether they are intended, unintended byproducts, or a little of both is your call.

  10. Yes, they do exist

  11. Maybe it's to stop things like 9/11 from happening again and to people all over the world? Open your eyes, dude... what is wrong with you... will any slight negligence on the part of the West make you throw your respect for history out of the window?

  12. I forget who posted it and I can find the picture either but it was something alot the lines of

    Why people become terrorists

0% I'm evil and enjoy murdering innocent civilians
25% They treat us like children/animals/shit and I'm sick of it
50% IM NOT A TERRORIST THOSE MOTHERFUCKERS KILLED MY SON/DAUGHTER AND IM PISSED!!!!!
25% The CIA pays me a good chunk of change
    0% I hate America's freedom.

That's not spot on but the picture hits the fucking nail on the head.

  13. Sorry for the double post, but if we want to stop things like 9/11 from happening we should stop bombing the shit out of every country that doesn't want our way of life. And even better every country who nationalizes there oil.

  14. History? Lol. If you knew any history you would know that 9/11 was just a reaction to aggressive US actions in the middle east. Aggression was the cause, and you advocate aggression as the cure? Lol.

Tell me, do you also advocate pouring gasoline on a fire to put it out?

  15. I do believe that NORAD have worked the kinks out since 2001. In the event of another 9/11, I'm sure they'd actually shoot the planes down this time.

  16. Why the fuck did this guy use my quote as signature?

I don't even get it  I mean, I'm neither american nor do I live there, the fuck does his comment on my comment mean?

Someone help me lift my confusion?

Is that shit even allowed without my consent? IMA LAWYER UP SON!

    Al-Qa

Aggression towards what? Socialist or Ideological regimes? Pshh.

For whatever reason they had, *and there have been many claimed reasons, even in Osama's manifesto that I read a shorter version of in class (once again, corruption)* , their reasons truly do deny universal logic and freedom. Any of the West's interests in the region should be protected, rather than overran, by such forces.

  19. Oh so it's no longer about stopping attacks? Now it's to support our "interests"? That's how easily you justify mass murder? You're sick in the head bro.
