Do T-Breaks Work?

  1. I've been smoking 2-3 days a week for the last 4 months or so and i realized that i dont get as high as i would like to anymore so im thinking about going on a month long T-break.

    after the month of no smoking will my tolerance pretty much "restart"?

    anyone had any successful t breaks?
     
  2. im thinkin u take 2 weeks off and youll be flyin. u only smoke like 2-3 times a week so idk how high ur tolerance would be but when u smoke everyday it is high and 2 weeks is awesome.
     
  3. yeah when i first started smoking last august, i take 2 bong hits and im high for HOURS. now, 3 bowls does me good for 2-3.. today i had one after school bowl and i was only high for 45 mins..it was an eye opening experience...

  4. Im on a city wreslting team and we have to make weight but i still toke it often but i usually detox before a meet and when i smoke i am noticably less tolerate. thats just me tho.
     
  5. Just take a week or two off and see how you feel.
     
  6. I was an every day toker and took 10 days off this summer. It didn't do much for lowering my tolerance. I'm now 10 weeks into an 80 day break and I'm hoping that will help.

    A few weeks and you'll notice a difference. From what I've heard, your tolerance will go back up pretty quick though. 2-3 times a week isn't bad though, you shouldn't have too high of a tolerance from just that. Sometimes we confuse tolerance with just being familiar with being high. I'm hoping I've gone long enough that I will be blown away by it since I have no memory of what it's like to be high anymore lol.
     
  7. If you take a break from anything your tolerance to it goes down. exampes-lifting weights, eating food, internet porn. same applies to weed !

    I used to get so high of half a bowl. Now I barely catch a buzzzzzzz
     
  8. This should be in apprentice tokers but yes, tolerance breaks do work. The long you go the more your tolerance will go down but it will start to go down slower after about a week or two which I would reccommend for you.

    To completely reset and get those amazing first highs doesnt have as much to do with desensitzing the receptors IMO. I think its more a mindset thing and not being familiar with the feeling of being high therefor making it more exciting. During those first highs you had no idea what to expect it was like and that made it more intense. Take a year off and you will really get those highs back. Also its a LOT easier to get tolerance back then it is to loose it. Start smoking the same way after a 2 week break and you will have the same tolerance back in a few sessions from my experience.
