Do-over vote for Brexit? I think so...

  1. Have any other parties been fiddling expenses over the past few years? Any ministers paying for their husbands to watch porn for example....duck islands...toilet seats....I would take them all with a pinch of salt. All actors, and you have your preferred actors for some reason.

  2. Wow finding you have aggressive silly views everywhere. You are a very aggressive individual, just stewing with resentment and angst at your shitty lot in life.

  3. Yup and all these morons buy into it. The Scottish fella really buys into it like a crack head buys into rock. It's funny because in the UK every word spoken in parliament goes into Hansard. It was openly discussed when the working men in towns got the vote how to stop the working classes getting control. A deal was done between the plutocrats and bureaucrats to crate a two party system. And thus the labour movement was born.

European democracy and American has always been a scam. Controlled opposition. You only have to look at the implosion of UKIP to see how it was subverted early on. All parties are either subverted and/or branded as whackos and imploded from within. Classic communist techniques.

  4. Jesus Ted, long time no see. Welcome back!

I think what we're looking at is the realisation that you can't have your cake and eat it. The UK are perfectly entitled to leave but they cannot expect to come out with a great deal. The Leave campaign oversold their hand with all kinds of fanciful stories of riches to be had outside the EU and reality is now settling in.

As for Farage and his populist nonsense, for someone who's made a career out of whining about EU corruption and money wasting it's hilarious to see that he's on the fiddle himself. The man is full of it.
Looking like his banker Aaron has been up to all kinds of skullduggery now as well.

This is all getting very pittiful now. The days of the mighty British Empire are long long gone and the Brits need to wake up to the fact that they're now a minor fish in a big pond. By all means leave but don't go swinging your little twinker around like it's a big fat cock.

  5. Not at all mate. Got a kushy, well paying job, a nice house, a perfect wee happy family and a Mrs who doesn't have to work. I also get lots of extra cash from things like growing weed so not resentful at all. I'll be fine when we all need to pay for the NHS cos mindless, tory voting bbc watchers ruined the country.
Won't effect me too much when the price of a chicken goes up to £9.45 and a loaf of bread costs a fiver because half the country were turned into narrow minded morons thanks to buying into propeganda bullshit spawned by the billionaire elite.
I'll once again be sitting on my pedestal, most likely with the Scottish govornment paying my leccy bill, laughing as the english all struggle to get by in their little cut off nation they created for themselves. If your lucky we might bring the Irish along. Your the first Irishman I haven't liked so I won't judge the rest of your countrymen by your attitude towards life.
Irelands probably gonna suffer the most in this mess aswell so don't know what your laughing about. Your wee islands right up shit creek if maybot doesn't pull her finger out.

"Cant have cake and eat it". I dont believe any state has the right to exist but analysing whats gone on its fairly obvious that the British political class and EU are one in the same. They were never going to allow the British people to have their cake no. But that's not to say a cake could not be had if the British political class were not consistently and openly committing treason. That's a fact and one which everybody is just too scared to state because the truth is the idea of the British state has long since been lost. It has been undermined at every opportunity and this has sped up in the past few years. Common purpose now run the UK, who would never give up their supply of honey which comes from the EU. This was a deliberate move by Blair to break the traditional power bases within the UK and to subvert the British State. It's a bit like whack-a-mole now.

Sadly people such as yourself who I believe deep down do know better are manipulated because of your hate of the British "empire". Which by the way was never truly British, and just as the American empire isn't now. Those at the very top win no matter what and they know no nations. All of this is just a phoney bone of contention. The fact is that the elite in every country will continue to cash in and nothing will change. People will still surrender the power because of their belief that "the british [or enter any group of people] did it". Fact is we do it to ourselves by supporting any organization such as the EU or British government. Voting doesnt work, there is no such thing as democracy.

Your a leftist who I generally like. Answer me honestly if you believe in democracy then surely someone being popular is a good thing? Why the hate on people who are popular with the people? Kinda runs counter to democracy to hate on people who are popular.....maybe I'm just a sucker for the importance of linguistics and its relation to thoughts.

What specifically is nonsense about what Farage said about the EU? Direct quotes please no media hatchet jobs....

  7. People who are happy don't say things like this and don't look for enemies everywhere. I made a bible quote and then you made a bunch of presumptions so you could do some virtue signalling. You are deeply unhappy and your Mrs will be to if she has nothing to work for in life.

And FYI the Government of any country never ever ever pays for anything. Not 1 penny in the whole of history.

  8. Wrong. Wrong just oh so wrong mate
Where I live the Scottish govornment are rolling out a system that pays everyone regardless of if they work or not. My entitlement if I decide not to work for a month is £1300. Don't have to sign on or even make a phone call. It gets paid into my bank account automatically if my wages drop below a certain threshold.
Took 10 weeks off last Christmas and they gave me nearly 4 grand without question. Scotlands not like the rest of the world mate.
We also have that much free electricity due to our windfarms that the english govt pays us millions per day to turn them off cos well blow the entire national grid. Soon as we go independent we'll get our fare share of free leccy too.
We're a different breed mate. We don't support a corrupt, money grabbing govornment. Our govornment supports our country!

  9. Interesting how someone seemingly so successful and gets free aid from the Scottish state, apparently, still grows weed for "extras". Risking your job, liberty and family in the process. Quite the risk taker, selfish or full of fecal matter. Which is it?

You're a funny guy, sadly your grasp on economics and the workings of the funding of fiscal policies seems to have gone the same way your last joint did. Now, for someone so happy with wife and kids in toe, why exactly are you getting so stoned on a sunday morning. Love to chat but I'm taking my kids to the park - enjoy smoking yourself into oblivion and altering reality because the reality you are in is not enough for you. Rain your smoking in and put your family first. Stop spewing your angst over the internet whilst you get high on a sunday morning and spend some time with your children.

And I'm not Irish btw, I'm an Israelite. Shalom. :)

  10. Not selfish mate, sensible. Making sure I'm covered from all angles and taking advantage of local economics I'm well aware how it works. And as you asked I'm sitting getting stoned on a Sunday morning cos the bairns away with granny for the day and I've got the house to myself for a change. So yes, I'm gonna spend the next 3 or 4 hours getting stoned and having a bit of chill time before going back to the graft tomorrow.
The only time I rant on here is in politics or religious threads. Mainly because both are problems caused by mass brainwashing. I'm chilled the rest of the time.
Oh and FYI I'm not risking my job or my liberties. I'm in Scotland mate. Got our own police force with its own policies that are nothing like the rest if the uk.
Get caught with a pound or 2 worth of plants and it's just a £350 fine as long as there's no evidence of dealing. My job pays well enough that there's nothing suspiciously expensive lying around and wouldn't be at risk in any way because of a pokey fine for weed. It's also been decriminalised to carry personal amounts here. Police Scotland officially declared last January that they'll no longer charge for small posession. It's really not that risky.
Once again mate, Scotlands not like the rest of the uk. Completely different country that's run a completely different way.

  11. Farage accused the European Commission of being the sole arbiter of legislation in the European Union.
This is nonsense and a blatant lie,
the commission takes it's directions from elected member state governments (the Council) and performs a role more akin to the British civil service. The third institution, the European Parliament, is made up of directly elected MEPs.

Farage has claimed that 70% of British law is dictated by the EU. More nonsense, the House of Commons itself has stated it's less than 15%.

As for his alleged popularity? This is wildly overstated. He's ran for the House of Commons 5 times and never been elected. He scraped in to the EU with less than 10% of the vote and in subsequent elections has never topped the poll or achieved more than 20% of the vote.

Farage is a self serving populist, nothing more and the fact that a small section of the British public swallow his nonsense does not make him a spokesman for the common man. Look at the rat who finances him, hardly the common man.

  12. Have you got direct quotes for these and statistics that support your counter view?

I cant say for certain but I'm pretty sure his main argument on EU accountability(un) is that the parliament is a sham. Which having studied EU extensively as a part of my degree is quite correct.

As for your claim that he said 70% of British law is dictated by the EU. That could or couldn't not be a) a correct quote and b) a correct claim if Farage made that quote. I don't know the exact figure but because of rules on harmonization the majority are dictated by the EU. The get out clause the EU use is that it is left to individual parliaments to make laws that are in line with EU rules - thus strictly speaking allowing a claim that the laws are not made by the EU. Clearly false.

I know you love the EU, but far too often you argue from rhetoric and not reason or facts. You have decided Farage is a numpty so everything he says is a lie and will defend the EU to the hilt. Why not see both for what they are - all serving their own interests.

Again using this "populist" phrase. You subjected yourself to way too much NLP in the media - sooner or later it will be rephrased as DOUBLESPEAK. Do you see how your linguistics have been manipulated even if not your very beliefs? You're not a stupid person so you know what the meaning of the word populist is and democracy - why bastardize the beautiful English language? It shows all the hall marks of a lack of independent thought. Set yourself free. Love the EU by all means but be honest about it, warts and all and please don;t try to claim it's a democracy. There is no true democracy in this world, not a single one.

  13. Right looked in to the energy thing as that was puzzing if scotland had enought wind to power uk why isnt it

Reason is lot of the turbines are connected only to.scotland and run when theres demand and they cant transport it to uk grid (not sure why) so basicly scotland can generate enough power crom wind for its self and since the gov sold the electric rights to companys the gov has to pay them companys for it regardless as its a contract.

So it wouldnt blow the grid scotland can produce 27,000Gwper year
Uk uses as a whole 355Tw per year

But by 2020 if scotland was to go independant it can run on 100% wind power but you still need to pay for it as its owned by companys not by the govenment. Edf and scottish and southern and fred olson ect ect own them so they would still need paying

  14. And the universal basic income which a few country do sweden i think is one and where uk wanted to follow scotland are in the process of trials this could be rolled out over the entire uk.
And would work out around 5200 a year or £100 per week... weather you work or not that all you get and like jsa blah blah its taxable so if you earn over the i think 12500 you pay 20% on it like you would if it was earning ect

Sound like a nice idea but it like tax me give it back and then they tax a bit more in tax. Seems lile there just movig money around. Guess this would stop benifit fraud cause ya get it either way thats all ya get now they can close down all the jsa places probly saving millions in hastle

  15. Btw spanish not tryin to argue just trying to understand it. As i have friends in scotland and theyve said nothing of this before. I know wind turbines are stopped happens close to me in england winds good but maybe 2 or 3 turbines going. Sad really there not a world grid giant batterys and a way we can harness all the power.

  16. Yeah there's a few countries do it. As it stands just now we only get the money when your wages drop to below a threshold or you don't work. I only see it when I take a few weeks off like around xmas time. It's fuckin great though 300 quid a week for doing nothing. I could just about survive on that if I had to.

  17. So this is based week to week and doesn't run in the financial year? So essentially uo earn a million a week then over a christmas you "take a fe weeks off" and you get this money. That sounds ace, remind me why you aren;t getting holiday pay....ahh wait a minute your talking a big shower of shit that's why.

  18. A populist is someone who portrays themselves as being on the side of the common man against the "elite". Am I wrong?

I've never claimed that the EU is a bastion of democracy or indeed portrayed it as such Ted. What i see is something that has brought the people of Europe together and encouraged/enabled free trade and the free movement of people between member states. It's far from ideal but it's a vast improvement on the alternative. The EU has also helped member states avoid conflict by putting a system in place that encourages cooperation and negotiation.

Borders are lines in the sand drawn by men. I'd like to see none anywhere. We should all be able to trade and travel without any restrictions. It's the elite who've drawn these lines and attempt to control us. The likes of Farage and his Johnny Englander routine want to confine us behind these fake borders and are the enemy of the people. Trump's the same as are all the other populists.

  19. What you've just said is exactly how it works mate. Month to month though. If i earn 4k this month I get nothing. Then I take next month of and they'll automatically pay me without any need for anyone to do anything.

I just double checked and there's what I get. Not quite 300 a week but close. Cant complain.

I work 40-55hrs a week but if i lost my job id have to call some cunt and the sign on to some self rightious picks in the jsa office. Who look at you like scum. I should move to scotland haha
