Do not buy from seedboutique, the seller is a thief and scammer. He can't be bothered to try and find an order unless you give him an order number and any other information you give him he IGNORES, and pretends that everything is your fault. He has kept my money and refused to refund it. Avoid this arrogant, lying thief and scammer.
go back to the farm, then. I assume thats what your name is implying, at least that said, Gypsy is my preferred seed vendor. Shipping time is normally incredibly fast. Selection of beans is my style, at least. Same with the freebies (IMO, theyre usually badass compared to other banks). and to boot, Ive had 2 instances that required customer service, and they came through brilliantly both times. The first, I had a 0% germination rate on a pack of seeds. I contacted Gerrit (the breeder at Magus, they were his beans), and through our correspondence, we were able to identify which seedlot they were from, and that they had been sold in error. Forwarding this information to OP (an admin at Seedboo/Bay) yielded me a fresh pack, from the most recent seedlot according to Gerrit. the second was a multi-phase order, in which one part was lost. Gypsy himself sorted the mess out through private conversations with me, and the package in question was in my possession six days later. thats good customer service, to go with a good product. youre off in left field on this one, logiclover. its ironic, since there's no logic to your bashing of Gypsy. may I suggest not blaming them for a postal problem, if thats the scenario.....
hmmm, a poster's opinion, backed up by 1000 posts, and 500+ pionts of rep.... VS that of some 1 post anon random. I wonder who's story is more believable
i guess everyone has a sucky day once in awhile.. if you actually paid via credit card then chargeback.. if you have the money order receipt, you can check if it cleared and post that as proof.
if you go to fedex and got no tracking number , ur fukked, so why would it be any diff with a seed company? dont they email you a tracking # ? imo
Seedboutique doesn't offer tracked shipping (because it's really not necessary), orders arrive on the west coast in 7 days flat.
Gypsy Nirvana is not a thief. Either you fucked up by losing your order number, or your order was confiscated or lost in the mail. That shit happens, man.
Gypsy is a beast in the seed game, I rarely order from anybody but him and thcfarmer. Next time dont lose your order number, infact it tells you to make sure you save that information. Pay attention to detail.
I have never heard anything bad about Gypsy Nivana/Seed Boutique either. A few growers I know swear by them, and they carry reputable breeders. I have only heard good things. I think you may need to retrace your steps and fnd where yu made the mistake at, maybe deleted an email or something.
^^^^ if they offer the strain youre after (and they offer quite a few), then its the only retailer id recommend. the only reason to go elsewhere, IMO, is to get something they dont offer. I had said Im done with ordering seeds, but this thread has made me want to give Gypsy just one more order, out of respect now, to pick out a couple more strains lmao
There was a time that Seed Boutique was on the iffy side. Back when POM was trying to steal the company, but ever since Gypsy got it back things have been fine. To tell you the truth if I were running a seed shop I'd ignore you too if you didn't have an order #. JG
So? Your seeds will get to you in 7 days flat unless you placed your order during the holidays, no empty guarantees just good service.
remember me sayin that? lmao, I ordered last thursday (1/28) 7 days, you say? nah. gypsy averages 5 days to me (with one 5 week, lost in the mail, exception). Todays arrival was 4 days flat (3 business days, and a sunday ). no one, and I mean no one, beats gypsy.
I haven't ordered seeds before but this is probably who Im going to go with. My question, which has been asked at nauseum...still a little paranoid. I live in the states,in the south where pot laws are harsh, and there is little tolerance. I have no other address to order to, so is it safe to order to my door? I will let you assume I am growing, but in fact may or may not be. Regardless, seeds still must come to my door. Should I be worried??
It's always advisable to not order seeds to the grow location. If you must, then you must though. I'm pretty sure it's just paranoia that the reason exists anyway. Does anyone know anyone who was busted because they had seeds sent to the grow location? I mean I would think unless you order like a couple hundred seeds, the customs agents will just confiscate your seeds and send you the standard no no note that people have reported getting.
I have considered getting a personal mailbox, but still wonder if that is a worthwhile measure of security?
