So while germanating seeds a family memeber died and I had no choice but to leave my seeds on the paper towel. When I came home days later they had grown to about 2 inches, are they still plantable?
I wish I could but I planted them just in case. They were also not in there shells if that helps. Sprouted completely.
I've seen Doc let them get that long before if I recall and they were fine as I remember. Just handle with extreme care. BNW
I'm sure if they were still moist and in the dark and weren't grown into the towel You might have some good growers . Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk
They'll be fine as long as they didnt dry out. If it grew into the paper dont worry about it. Pull as much paper away as you safely can. Plant the rest, the paper will break down and wont hurt anything. I used to do the paper towel method then I went back to germinating in soil to skip an unnecessary step as I found there to be no benifit.
Yes I forgot some seeds in a tuppaware thing and paper towel for a long time once and a couple of them things got like 15" long all curled up and stuff. They were all probably fine but I don't think I used them..
