I heard that something in mangos makes you higher if you have been smoking. Is this true? Does drinking a Mucho Mango Arizona work the same way? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Tested this back in high school and it seemed that it actually worked, plus that mango is hella refreshing. It's a win win situation.. Next time I'm at the store, getting mangoes, just made the list.
Yep, mangoes (and cannabis) contain myrcene, which helps THC cross the blood brain barrier more efficiently. Lemongrass also contains myrcene, I think a few other plants do as well. Though I doubt Arizona Mucho Mango would have much, if any, myrcene. I'm not even sure if it contains actual mango juice.
Don't know about the tea but yeah mangos give you a better high. Eat one 45-60 minutes before smoking Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Also, if you like drinking Tea, that also makes you higher. If you use the tinterwebz to research it I believe there is something in tea which stimulates one of our cannabanoid(sp?) receptors, prolonging your high. My roomie is broke and refusing to buy weed, and he has literally just been drinking tea all day every day after getting a few puffs of my jay occasionally...he seems high, at least.
Mangoes for the win. We have a second refrigerator outside of our house devoted entirely to mangoes and beer. So much mango. I would not ever recommend picking them for a living though. I did it for one month and it was the most miserable job on the planet. I still have the scars on my hands. No bueno.
Tropical mango juice is the shit when your high. If you like mangos that is lol Sent from my GT-N7000 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Idk I hate mangos but I blended them with water in my blender and slowly drank it. 40 min from now I'll be smokig so we'll see I jerk off inside books and give life to words
One time I made hamburger helper with kief and mango cooked in. I was blasted for 9 hours and laughed uncontrollable for about 30 minutes. It was intense. Never been that night before or after. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
I eat mangos all the time. I never noticed any difference but then I have so many different strains that I would not know if the mango added anything or it was a different buzz due to the strain. So many variables in play like tollerance, strain, food, sleep, mood. The good thing is mango's are good to eat and not harmful so enjoy.
Yes it does, get yourself some Yogurt and mangos and peaches blend up a perfect smoothie and drink it while your getting stoned just give it a 30 minute head start to get in your body and start working Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
According to an article I read, myrcene doesn't easily reach our blood stream when we eat mango. "The bad news is that orally administered myrcene is not likely to reach your bloodstream, since it's not easy for it to be absorbed through the gut and survive liver metabolism." http://dangerousminds.net/comments/does_eating_mango_boost_the_effects_of_marijuana
