There's nothing wrong with talking.

But you learn the most when you're quiet.

It is crazy annoying when people talk too much.

You go from the

"heh, okay, he made 1 bad/annoying/loud comment from being normal"

but with every word that comes out of someone who talks too much

"can this guy just shut up. nothing he says will be interesting or funny, i'm not paying attention to him after all"

 

Try it sometime, you'll see.

 

Because you listen. You won't learn doing all of the talking

I don't mind people who have a lot to say, but if you are just droning incessantly and I'm clearly not interested, I'll tell you to shut the fuck up.

 

I think that's your personality, because me personally I don't mind a little silence. Talk 100% of the time seems forced when I never do that with my family, etc.

See, that's your perception because you feel like if you're not in control with the conversation than you'll feel self conscious about being quiet and letting your real traits show.
