Sorry if I spelt it wrong, but I'm eighteen and I think that i have a mild case of anxiety. Before going places such as a friends house, an event, or if someone is coming to hang out with me. I feel pretty anxious and I HATE the feeling of anxiety. It's like I'm worrying about something when there really is nothing I should be worrying about. Also, when I do new drugs or a higher dose I get very anxious and it ruins my good time. Especially with rolls, I take it and I am so anxious that I have sometimes resort to cigarettes to make the feeling somewhat go away... I dont even like cigarettes! So does anyone think I should go to the doctor, or can explain cases of severe anxiety or what symptoms you have to have in order to get Xanax or some kind of anxiety reliever?
What should I expect from him? A regular doctor aswell? I just can't stand that tingly feeling in my stomach and genital region when I'm going to do anything! I mean I love to do it recreationally but I also see a use for it to help me as well in every day life.
Ya if you tell your regular doc that, i bet youll get some kind of benzo, maybe not xanax but something. Also maybe a script for lexapro.
OKay thanks alot... Considerin I do get a script.. how would I be able to convince the doctor to up the dosage and how long should I wait before bringing it up? I'm not trying to post fraudulant things on here, because I do have anxiety. Just I would like the bigger doses so I could cure my anxiety and have fun on some other days
Just get the script that he gives you from the start, then wait a week or 2 and go back in and say its not really working anymore. You should move up the ladder as they say.
Benzos are gonna do everything but cure your anxiety. Just suck it up, I got anxiety but I cured it by not giving a damn what someone thinks of me
Well I got prescribed benzos due to panic attacks, which are quite different from general anxiety. But yeah, just tell the doctor what you told us, maybe exaggerate it a bit. I got my dosage to go up by telling the doctor that the original dosage doesn't seem to work, so I have to take more of them. He'll either just make the amount that you are prescribed go up, or up the dosage. Good luck. Be careful with addiction, too. It's a killer.
Odds are you will not be started on alprazolam. Definitely dont mention anything about any benzo, if thats what you are looking for. If you want help, listen to what he says and obey the dosages.
Even if they do not cure my anxiety, which I have taken them and they do help, I can use them for recreation as well if worse comes to worse. And caring about what people think of me has nothing to do with my anxiety, if that was that cause I would have said nervousness. I actually do not care what people think, and even if I did thats not what the reason for my anxiety is.
You and me go in this category. Maybe OP does too. We get some anxiety, but really, I can deal with that shit easy. Some people do need these and they tremendously help there day to day life. When you get people that do research or try it a couple times, they can easily convince them-self they medically need it, but really they are only abusing them.
I used to have panic attacks and xanax is awesome. It doesn't even really fuck me up, it just prevents me from getting very hot and uncomfortable due to anxiety. if you are serious about curing anxiety and not getting fucked up you should get lorazepam, otherwise go for kpins or xanax for getting fucked up.
