As of recent I haven't been digging the highs I have been getting from combustion. I tend to get very lazy and think negative thoughts. I also develop the munchies which im trying to avoid since im on a diet. And lately whenever I rip my bong before bed I wake up feeling very groggy and just wanna sleep all day. So my question for you fellow blades is, will some, if not all of these problems be solved by switching to a vaporizer?
Personally I enjoy the high from vaping so much more than smoking. To me it feels cleaner and allows me to still have a "clear mind" when im high. So im guessing that a vaporizer will solve your problems. Its also stealthier! Which is always a plus.
Give vaping a try, switch to a more sativa dominant strain, and maybe don't smoke right before bed unless you can't sleep. I notice whenever I go to bed high I wake up much more lethargic than otherwise. E: some other things to try: smoke less per session, and not sure if this applies to you, but go into the high with a positive mindset, if you're smoking with a bad mindset, it can make things worse.
It's not that im going into the high with a bad mind set its that i get so lazy while high that i just sit and think. And sativa's are quite hard to find around here
Gotta tell yourself not to think and just enjoy the high. My mind still wanders when I'm stoned and I've been smoking/vaping for 10 years now Sometimes you just gotta mentally tell yourself to shut the fuck up, ya know?
Get a variable temperature vaporiser (most of them are) and vaporise at a low temperature (so that your weed remains greenish). THC is just one of dozens of cannabinoids in the herb, and it's the higher-temperature-boiling ones that are most responsible for the 'couchlock' effect. So even with an indica strain, you can get a much more sativa-ish, energetic, trippy head-high if you vape at a low setting. But even with high-temp vaping, where you cook your herb to a medium-dark brown, there's still far less of the after-effects to contend with, because you're avoiding the vast majority of the unwanted by-products of smoke. I'd suggest a Da Buddha if you like fat bong-hits, or an Extreme or a Herbalaire if you'd prefer a lighter hitting but more versatile vape (ie one that does bags too). They're all excellent, well respected models, all around the $150 mark by Amazon's prices. But remember when you get a vape, hang on to your vaped weed for edibles - that way you can get the cannabinoids that the vape misses.
I was looking into Da Buddha. But then I saw the extreme q. I like the buddha's simplicity and the set up but I don't like how it's a knob rather than a displayed temp like the eq
Having owned the Da Buddha then upgrading to the EQ, you really can't go wrong with either. But the displayed temp is what motivated me to upgrade, and I have to say the bags were a nice bonus, I don't even use the whip anymore.
You can judge your vaping temperature by the colour of your vaped weed. Still greenish = low temp; light brown = medium; medium/dark brown = hgh temp. Just don't blacken your weed. And while the Da Buddha won't blow bags, the advantage it has over the Extreme (or the Herbalaire) is that it hits harder, and so is much better substitute for a bong.
