hi ive been using this HPS light for 6 months i know its only a short time but just switched my light off there you know how they still glow for a few moments after you turn it of well i had a look at it and its got a couple of white dots on the white tube inside the bulb is that a sign i need a new light or will it be ok
Hot spots aren't normal but if your light still turns on, you're fine. Most bulbs last around one year before the spectrum starts to dwindle.
yep it still turns on its on a timer always has been on 12/12 since i got it ok i'll buy a new bulb for a spare
