Soils at full hydration and I have bought a feed being delivered 5-3-8 I want to enter flower so I hope the 5 is fine with organics lol , I am currently getting yellow leaves daily (n) it’s lower leaves not upper as all new growth looks nice , purple stems show a phosphorus need and a weakness in the stems and dryness to leaves on most appearing and 2 cultivars show rust spots a lot, so it’s strain dependant the ca need if only two show that constantly eh? , I’m throwing some worm shit on tonight to help them a little with some gypsum and limestone , they do perk up with chickenshit but I don’t want to add more with my fert in the post and overdo it . But would I benefit from a faster release food too? The fert says slow release so thinking it will need a few weeks to start ,I thought about adding compost but was told not to pot up higher on the branches and stem lol Bz , Rolex , stardawg
MBP... Malted Barley Powder.. Steroids for Organics in Flower. Find your local home beer brew shop. Buy 1 pound of 6 or 2 row Malted Barley. Do not let / have them crack it for you. Powder 1 tablespoon in a coffee bean grinder and sprinkle under plant. Scratch and water in. Apply every 2 weeks. Can be done as an air bubbled tea as well. BNW
Runoff ph I will check for ya ,you mean put a tub under water in n catch the drips ye ? Did soil ph test 3/4 ro water n soil from under surface gave a 6.7 but will recheck soon as my visitors go home been in panic mode my chillie plants downstairs had spider mite on so neeming tonight been cleaning all day If I Topdress chicken poo everyv2 week they seem to stay green just over that time mark now and ther doing the hunger strike again lol is why I was going to get the 5-3-8 as it has the bonemeal in too along with chicken poo etc, went longer than I wanted to in veg building new groom but it’s a 45day cultivar and a few 55 so I just wanna flip best I can feed em and get em out so I can rebuild the soil properly and next time Il be 3 week flip not 2 month lol seems a shame to axe trees and time eh if it was a sativa I’d think again lol have seen bigger trees lol it’s just finding how best to manage their feeding eh I’ll go get ya runoff n tests in an hour @Jay_R_1787
@Jay_R_1787 I watered the one with ca rust , ro water ph 5.5 waited 3 mins n poured in 100ml I put a tub under her and waited for drips (I have 1 inch under swick) and from that I got 50ml back with a ph of 6.8
Light distance is 20inch they say 16 but I use 50% power at 20 and there good anymore and they seem to get mg stress My big middle light is a strip she can sit 5inch off canopy but I keep at 16 and full she fills the room hlg350x2 Bxeb 480w strip build 2ft x 4ft build off to water in a second so I’ll stick my meat thermometer in the soil deep feels normal/cool room temp though there isn’t no heating going on if that’s what ya mean Never the less I’ll get that thermometer reading asap
The 5-3-8 feed says it won’t make green flush of growth sounds cool ,was worried about the N and flower Start but learnt that a myth with organic since and another guy I follow used a 25-10-10 in flower so N myth is learnt and confirmed haha ,when the feed arrives it says feeds for 6week but will take a few week to break down and start feeding. Today my growth has jumped through the screen green still some yellow bottoms it seems every time they grow up top , a few below yellow n drop ,I’ve just given some ewc top dress which is 3-1-2 npk to help em get some fast food n microbes , but looking lush today Would A liquid feed on top of that dry feed 6-2-4 organic , be of benefit mainly during stretch ? It is is a high brix flower feed it looks damn enticing as raising brix and is meant to be a key in the works eh (it’s a non profit nursery n farm so it’s all cheaper than milk too , they stock other company’s who relabel as there own but look after the small peeps) makes me want it all , they even gave me a lab they use which do the melich3 over here if you request it so will get a test at the end of my grow and they can advise how to adjust with their line yay. they said I’d have no problem using both or just 1 , my fear is when these monsters hit stretch the current problem that seems hungry is going to fly nuts and go yellow as . I have ordered both as I will be using on my garden veg this season too trial and error , just rather not trial and error so much on the canna , my harvest is most important I need meds lol don’t mind a twisted tomato but a smoke .. umm Got to be grade eh 420 to all I need feed and sleep just finished a night shift n pulled my back wonder what my npk is, think i need to eats some granules too
