I was going to put my clones in one of those aluminum turkey roasting trays with a lid but it's not tall enough. Do I have to have a dome or is there anything I can rig up like a clear plastic bag or something?
So I shouldn't leave them in my grow room which is on 18/6 light cycle? Could I put them in my basement with heating pad underneath and I have these little LED flourescent fixtures that aren't very strong but will they at least do the job?
I ended up just putting them in the roaster pan with lid cut the clones 5 inches and the leaves are touching the lid. Do I need to poke air holes in the dome for ventilation or will they be alright?
for the first couple days just mist them and leave sealed make sure they are moist and warm at least 78f then on the third day open the dome for 15 minutes twice a day within 2 weeks you should see roots what medium are they in soil?
Maybe you do, maybe you don't. I hope that helps, seriously. I wouldn't automatically do it unless you feel they need it, temp? humidity?
I have done it many times outdoors and indoors never have used a dome. Not saying they may be helpful to you I don't know as said I never used them and can clone just as easy as sprout a seed just takes longer.
