I found a site 1000bulbs.com that sells 1000 watts hps for 27.00, but everyone keeps telling me to stick with the Sunmaster and the Hortilux whitch are both around 80.00 bucks. I don't understand is it just a name or are the more expensive one's better in some way?
The super HPS bulbs just have more gas in them and you pay way more. Hortilux is a waste of money. There are a lot of other Super HPS alternatives to Hortilux. I can tell you you'll be hard pressed to see much difference crop wise between a 1000W Sylvania or 1000W Hortilux. Mind you some people swear by them but... you'll be better off making sure you get the environment tuned first.
Just checked it out and the Plus Right is $27.12 Each. I'd rather pay the extra and go with the Sylvania. A lot of the cheap HPS bulbs usually have pre mature failures or gas leaks.
