Im looking into purchasing a 32"x32"73 tent, i have a 4x4x80" but i dont like the size. I have two 1000w full spectrum lights from amazon. They both pull 185 true watts from the wall, so total 370. I just placed a order for a Maxsisun 600w that pulls 134w from the wall. Added up if u used all 3 in flower id have 504 true watts. Would this be sufficient and do well? Most ill be running is 4 plants. Thanks guys, i REALLY appreciate opinions. Also i wouldn't mind to get a discussion about strain preferences and some possible experimental ideas Sent from my LM-X420 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Wanted to fix my Mistake, i went online for some pictures and the tent is actually 32"x32"x63" i previously stated it to be 10 inches higher. Here are some pics of the one im going to get soon. Sent from my LM-X420 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Those lights aren't an efficient way of spending money. Have you looked at Mars Hydro's new white LEDs or quantum boards? You can have half the wattage with the same yeild
You won't be happy with the 63" height unless you plan on training them to keep them low. Using Chinese blurples requires about 50 watts per s/f for optimum growth. You have 7 s/f, so you need about 350 actual watts for that tent size. Unless you do sog - 4 plants in that space will be crowded. Reconsider using your 4 x 4 tent - 4 plants fit perfect with a 5 week veg. Good luck.
For a tent that size (32x32x63), I'd say your comfort zone should be 400w of true power draw. I used 1000w of HPS in my 48x48x78 grow tent, and got a slight bit of light burn. Upgraded to a 60x60x60 tent, but lowered my light to 600w of MH/HPS. Much better results now. It'll be easier to regulate temps with LEDs. I'd say go with some nice quality blurples.
