well here is my plant about 1 week into flowering, i didnt buy a timer so i turn it off everyday by hand. i am usually consistent and within 2 mins. of 12 hours exactly. but one day i overslept an hour so that day it got 12 hours dark, but less time in the light. So next grow im buying a timer. but the way i look at it, its not all bad. because i can gather the pollen from the sacks and if i want in later grows i can pollinate only a part of a bud and get all female seeds right? well here are the pics.
Looks like a definite intersexed hermaphrodite to me. Seriously though man, a cheap 15amp timer would have yielded you more and saved tons of trouble. Edit: Yes, you can use the pollen form the hermi to pollinate a female to have ‘feminized’ seeds. Although if the progeny is put under the same stressful conditions that led to the parent plant becoming a hermi, could also show signs in the offspring. These are known as intersex tendencies.
yeh, it gives off feminized seeds, which have a reasonable possibility of going hermie themselves. breeders tend to shy away from feminized seeds I've heard.
Its not a hermie, its all male, the only thing it will do is spuge all over your grow area and any female plant will be toast for the next 2-3 grows unless yo clean if extra well. Cut it down before it blows its load.
First, those pics are too blurry to tell if you've got a hermie or just a male. Second, giving your plant an extra hour of dark one day did not stress it, certainly not enough to induce a hermie. Third, there are big misconceptions about hermies and femmed seeds. Most hermies do not have feminized pollen. Most hermies are genetic freaks that will sire more genetic freaks that could include more hermies but certainly will include low potency for our interests. It is a special kind of hermie that produces feminized pollen for making femmed seeds, and it is not at all easy to induce. These special hermies are genetically female through and through but selected bud sites are induced to grow outwardly male sex organs (flowers). Whether you have a hermie or a pure male is hard to tell, but you defiinitely don't have a plant that will yield feminized seeds. I have grown out femmed seeds successfully with no problems.
looks like a big daddy male about to shed its load at any minuite to me i cant see any bud ,but the pictures aint clear so could be wrong ,all i can see is big ass pollen sacks .
Yeah upon closer examination of the first blurry pic, you most likely have a full blown male. At first glance the upper portion looked like a small cola with male sacs down low. If there's no white fuzzy pistal hairs then its a male.
so im pretty sure its a male.. 1 was a male earlier, then i think these 2 are also (i killed the first one). so damn 3/3 male..
