Do Germinating Seeds Need Sunlight?

    Yea, do germinating seeds need to get sunlight. Can i just put them in the dark? Is there any other special requirements, besides water, that they need?:confused:

    just put the seeds in a moist paper towel then i like to put em in a tin they need dark

    exposing the seeds while germinating to sunlight would be bad. The tap root would be exposed to light, and that's not a good thing.

    Trust me they need darkness and humidity! Use the old plate bowl and papertowl trick for germination!

    until they're in medium, and above ground, they don't need light.
